    This year Crede hasn't been much worse than Huff though. Crede in 296 AB's: .253/.306/.436 with 13 HR and 48 RBI. Huff in 360 AB's: .267/.327/.422 with 12 HR and 58 RBI. Certainly Huff has had the better career thus far, but he's also 2 years older, plus the fact that Crede is MUCH better defensively. I just don't see how it's worth giving up McCarthy and Marte for. One week ago Huff was at .251/.314/.383. Maybe he's just starting to heat up and getting him out of Tampa will get him going. It just seems like a steep price to give up for what he's producing this year. Good point, although Huff last year started late and then was on fire for the rest of the season.

    And our inability to score runs from 3rd just cost us the game.

    Bunch of morons man. Man on 3rd nobody out and they can;t get the run. I'm never confident in the Cubs getting the run in from 3rd because they choke in those instances. Holla is terrible and he should not be an everyday MLB starter.

    Let's face it, Holla would not be a starting LF on any other team besides the Cubs. Murton SHOULD be playing but Dusty the moron has a different way of thinking. There's just so many things that bother me about Dusty.

    He has been good as of late, but he was going through a really bad stretch before that.

    Yeah, being at the friendly confines and being a nice and excellent fan sure as heck hasn't helped us get to the World Series. I personally don't care if Hawkins is butt-hurt about the treatment from the fans. He didn't live up to expectations here and was a big dissapointment. Hes not our problem anymore and we all should be thankful of that.

    Um, Macias didn't pitch hit for Hairston. Macias came in for Hairston in CF an inning or two ago. Maybe hairston is hurt. Probably an act of Dustyism.

    I agree with you. that is some horrible classless action. Nonsense. The dude is obviously a mental midget. Kudos to the crowd for trying to get into his head. (Whether a guy with a 3.00 ERA deserved the treatment that he got while he was a Cub is a different story) Yup. The guy can't handle the pressure and that's why he will never/can't be a good closer.
