This year Crede hasn't been much worse than Huff though. Crede in 296 AB's: .253/.306/.436 with 13 HR and 48 RBI. Huff in 360 AB's: .267/.327/.422 with 12 HR and 58 RBI. Certainly Huff has had the better career thus far, but he's also 2 years older, plus the fact that Crede is MUCH better defensively. I just don't see how it's worth giving up McCarthy and Marte for. One week ago Huff was at .251/.314/.383. Maybe he's just starting to heat up and getting him out of Tampa will get him going. It just seems like a steep price to give up for what he's producing this year. Good point, although Huff last year started late and then was on fire for the rest of the season.
