    No more Mr. Nice guy fans. Cant blame them though. Looks like were ready for yet another loss. At this rate we might be in last place in our division. That isn't far-fetched.

    I do. I think this could be the 2006 pen: Dempster Williamson Ryan Aardsma Ohman Novoa Filthy, IMO. I forgot about Ryan, although I dont think the O's will let him walk. Ryan and Wagner either one would be great to have.

    You complained that he wasn't going to be playing enough and now that he's played 4 days in a row you're complaining? Wow. It's not that hes complaining but he's assuming baker is playing him now which means baker will let him rest during the Cards series.

    I'm surprised I havent seen Hairston in any of the plans next year. I like Tim's idea of getting Giles and Burnett. Also adding Billy Wagner would be nice.

    Did you really guess because Murton is leading off. He put Murton at leadoff because someone heard on the score that Murton is leading off. He said so on page 2. Sometimes I wonder if people actually read the thread before they say something. Relax dude, so what if we missed it.

    Yeah, but they made a significant move in getting Beltran and their pitching was good. Overall, their offense was stacked, and they actually had one of the best closers in Lidge.

    I disagree. Our pitching staff has been horrible this year. Actually, everything on the cubs has been horrible. Z, Maddux, Prior, Wood have been busts this year as far as I'm concerned. I was expecting Z, and Prior to have ERAs in the high 2s. That hasn't been the case. Wood in the mid 3s..yeah right, and of course Maddux low 4s would've been nice. That hasn't been the case. What was our strong point for 1.5 years has been avg now.

    Policing the players is your job, Dusty. Seriously, all this talk from Hendry saying this is not Dusty's fault might get him fired too. Dusty needs to go in a bad way, things are not good at all. Any other team would've let him go already.

    Furcal or Nomar would be nice at SS. I would personally go after Furcal.

    I think that theres a difference in price between a setup man and a closer. It's possible Hendry doesnt want to fork out the extra cash for a closer.

    I wish we could interview the candidates for the position :) First ? I will ask is if they will play the youngsters.

    Yeah, Hendry is no angel. He didnt make this team better this off-season, he made it worse. Really have you ever seen a more pathetic OF than ours? I'm pretty convinced that the entore coaching staff has to go. Our starting pitching isnt that good anymore. Even Prior and Z are giving it up. Our bench is terrible. Our RP is mediocre at best, and our offense slumps 6/7 days a week. Baker has to go immediately and take his staff with him. Hendry picked the wrong off-season to wait to make moves. Aside from Giles there is NOTHING available out there (aside from trades) that can improve our OF. This is so frustrating, that it's to the point where it just isn't fair for us anymore. We deserve much better.

    Reality starting to really sink in. I cant believe with that payroll we can be so bad. Bad GM moves, terrible managing, and underperforming players. And then they complain when we boo them HAHAHA.

    I dont think its a shame. Considering how bad our offense has been 3runs should've been good enough for him. He has been giving up wayy too many homers lately anyways.
