  1. I was reading on RealGM that he had the 3rd lowest defensive win shares in the league. But then again, since all he can do is score, he'll be our 6th man, which means he comes in when we need a scoring boost. So you would give your 6th man who can only score 10-12 mil per year? I sure as heck wouldn't. Let him walk.
  2. Well if he cleared waivers and plays in the minors they still have to pay his salary but it doesn't affect the cap. If he were to be brought back up from minors to NHL a team can pick him up for 1/2 the cost and the other 1/2 would be paid by the bhawks.
  3. I really hope we don't give in and sign him to an extension.
  4. I have to be honest here. I have a bad feeling about the Dodgers. They have been a pretty good team since Manny joined the club. They have starting pitching that could give us problems and a better bullpen than us. Why the heck did we not let the Mets win those games? I feel that we had a MUCH better shot to beat the Mets over the Dodgers. Maybe Lou feels different about it but I sure as heck don't.
  5. I thought Orton was finally showing he was a NFL quality QB in the first half and then the 2nd half was pretty much a disaster. He looked REALLY good in the first half, no idea what happened to him in the 2nd half. I think teams make very good adjustments against us and we see in the 2nd half.
  6. Hester just hasn't been the same this year. I wonder if it has to do with him learning to be a WR more?
  7. westbrook inactive, tommie harris inactive, hester active
  8. The problem I have with leaving out Marquis is that if a starter gets shelled or injured. We need a long reliever in the pen, and while I guess you're thinking Marshall would fill that role, I think Sean will be used as more of a LOOGY. But yes, hopefully we'll never have to actually use Marquis this postseason. I think Marshall has done will as out of the pen giving us more than 1 inning per outing. We also have Cotts who sucks but hey he's a lefty. I feel more comfortable with Marshall coming out of the pen than Marquis.
  9. Wuertz is > than Howry or Gaudin or Marquis
  10. I don't think Marquis should have made it. Sure, he's done well for us but that was as a starting pitcher. I'd rather see Wuertz over Marquis.
  11. I'm not. Nobody is the least bit concerned that they might be better than the rest? Sabathia, Sheets, Gallardo, Bush?
  12. Lou said Howry already made it, which we all knew ould happen. He's going to be the 7th inning guy. I'd use the Shark in the 7th over Howry. Where the heck is Wuertz? Why isn't he out there pitching?
  13. Chances are Lou will put Howry on the playoff roster. I'm just happy the guy is a FA and probably won't be here next year.
  14. Hmm do we even want Z to be out #1 in the playoffs? There's huge cause for concern.
  15. Yeah dumbass. And where did that get you? Oh and by the way, good job getting beat like a ragdoll by a midline receiver to set up the losing field goal. Anyone else just about ready to be done with Vasher? He's sucked all year. How many more weeks does he get pass because he's "coming back from injury?" The man can't cover, and he can't catch anymore either. Right now, he's pretty much a complete and total liability. Oh yeah. Vasher is overrated. He's a terrible tackler as well. A lot of people think he's better than Tillman cause he gets all the interceptions, but what people don't realize is 1. He can't tackle 2. He is always in the right place at the right time. There like always ball hit into the air and he just happens to be right by it. Tillman is so much better than him. He is one of the best tacklers on the entire team He probably is the best tackler on the team besides Urlacher. And he's easily one of the best tackling CB's in the league. You're saying Vasher is on the best tackling CB's in the league? No way. He's atrocious. I've seen him miss tackles the past 3 years. He's talking about Tillman. Ok that makes sense. Yeah Tillman made a costly boneheaded play but he's still a top corner in this league.
  16. If that's true then why did they modify their rotation for the rest of the regular season to be: Marquis Marshall Zambrano Harden Dempster Lilly Marquis/Marshall
  17. Do you really believe that? Has anyone on this forum received notice that they won this so-called lottery?
  18. Another email got rejected. I mean this is sounding more and more like a scam.

  22. I personally wish that they brought this look back: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3254/2873834055_e383b6f787_o.jpg (Sorry Len, I know you probably wish such pictures were destroyed, but it's waaaay too good of a look!) Jeez, you would think Bob would fix his hair before a broadcast. :)
