  1. I cannot understand this, Hendry needs to find out who he wants and should start interviewing the candidates, especially considering we need to find coaches under the manager too. I hope Hendry isn't a day late and a dollar short yet again.
  2. As of right now I have to say true.
  3. I'm glad to see all of them go. Too bad our GM is still incompetent with his catch the ball theories. Honestly, what's the point of holding on to Hendry, unless of course he was totally brain washed by Baker and made most of those moves for him which I doubt. We need to be more aggressive in signing top free agents and making the right trades to help this ball club. Acquiring mediocre (if that) players like Izturis will only make us worse.
  4. I'll take Theriot over Izturis any day of the week.
  5. If Hendry really cared what was the best interest of this organization he would have resigned. He better think outside the box and stop signing mediocre players and making the right trades.
  6. No, horse crap was how your team played this year... Thank you. I don't care if the players back Dusty and from the things we've been reading recently it's probably because they could do whatever they wanted and practiced as much as they wanted. Put up or shut up time for the players if you ask me.
  7. Oh boy was I happy when I heard the news! Two things here though, 1. I'm looking for the trifecta here. MacPhail out, Hendry fired, and Baker let go. 2. I'm concerned they are allowing the replacement to be a marketing director. From the sound of his interview it didn't sound like he was her on an interim position.
  8. I wanted to see what this guy can do but this is just pathetic. This guy is ALWAYS injured.
  9. The Bears plan on still using 2 linebackers against the 4 receiver set. As far as our receivers go, this is a nice quote: Good thing we have a lot of depth this year at DB.
  10. I don't like Baker but I won't blame him for Corey.
  11. You mean to tell me lefty - lefty matchups sometimes do not work? I think Dusty knows best.
  12. I hope I'm wrong but I think we lose this one.
  13. He needs to know that if you are receiving a punt deep in your own territory, you never try to return a punt inside your own 10 unless it is a boomer and you have plenty of room to return it. But the big drop step that was called for when Grossman threw the interception was not smart. You have to run and get ourself out of trouble first. Grossman was lucky though cause he could have given up at least two more picks. But he picked himslef up and helped get the W. Let me say this: Tommie Harris is a flat out stud. Man is he good. Urlacher played terrible. The whole team couldnt tackle today. I am not sure if it the line or Jones, but the running attack needs to get better. Jones was running better at the end of the game though. He historically does do that. Suprised that Benson and Peterson didn't get in at all. But with the amount of pressure the Vikes were brining today, maybe Lovie wanted a RB who could block. The last play the Vikes did, I am not sure that the deep ball was the first option. It shouldn't have even been an option. But soem Bear was bringing pressure and I think Johnson just threw the ball up because that was al he could see. Still a really dumb play on 4th and 2 with the game on the line. We really haven't gotten much from Thomas Jones this year. I'm really surprised Benson didn't even have one carry today. I think we need to use Benson a bit more to see what we have in him.
  14. Chances are, that next year we won't make the playoffs but it does make me feel better knowing that Dusty will not be here. I can't stand him.
  15. And then Kurt Warner coughed it right back to them. Time for Matt Leinart - 4 turnovers against the Rams is reason enough for a benching. Warner gets so easily rattled it's not even funny. He just looks scared out there at times.
  16. The Cubs are on the list of teams Hunter counldnt be traded to, so it seems unlikely that he'd want to sign here as a FA.....at least I hope. Hunter went on record stating that he would play for the Cubs.
  17. Don't worry we're still in it!! Cedeno baby!
  18. 89-90. In all fairness to him his breaking stuff has been really good.
  19. And all of a sudden Cedeno has been hitting well..
  20. Pierre is one of the most overrated players in baseball. Even more than I thought he would be before we acquired him.
  21. So did Cedeno last year. I just can't take him seriously, the comparison is too apt. there is a slight difference between cedeno's .731 in 80 ab's last year and ryans .961 in 99 ab's. this guy is the real deal imo and it just took getting playing time in the majors for him to shine. there is no doubt that he is way overachieving now but there are not many (if any) holes in his game imo. he seems to be very solid all the way around. One way or another it's a good problem to have. I still can;t believe we traded for Izturis, just such a waste IMO.
  22. There's no way we can discount having Theriot be a starter next year. He's looked very good since he's been inserted into the lineup.
  23. Can't say I'm too positive leaving Marshall in the rotation for next year,
