    I've reached various levels of stupidity the last few dyas. Thinking Clemente was number 30 to wasting almost 200 miles of gas to spend a day in Milwaukee (or at least alluding to it...). All this finals time is making my damn head spin.

    Kinsler is redundant with Weeks and Peralta. For me, it would be Street, Delgado, and Ensberg

    Aurillia will be getting some decent starts since Womack is gone and Griffey is still banged up. Repko was hot, not sure how he's done since we pitched BP to him. Gibbons is definitely a guy to keep.

    That was an awesome read. I would suggest posting a sticky or announcement in Baseball Discussions when a new chat is posted, or some announcement on the front page so the rest of the board can access it easier.

    What of the guaranteed contract in '07? I'm not a big fan of that. How much is it for? If we kept him for 07, he could play the same role, being a great bat off the bench. Or we could shop him to a lower market team looking for a plattoon at first base. Ie Pittsburgh (maybe with Brad Eldred) or Kansas City. If the contract isn't restrictive, there would be some market for him.

    I think getting a guy like Tony Clark would make perfect sense. Lee isn't going to be able to play everyday for a good month or so after he gets back. Get another 5-6 starts out of a guy like Clark and then use him as an uber pinch hitter. It would really add something to the bench. Great move potentially.

    Plenty of sweet seats still available for the game. Just did a search, singles in Club OF, UD Box right behind home plate second row, TR IF right behind home. Plus its a value day!

    The boos are because people are tired of seeing crappy players on a Cubs team that needs to continously disassociate themselves with said crappy players, and yet the Cubs keep welcoming in the crappy like they are the homeless. If Neifi is playing tomorrow, it'll be boo central so Jock doesn't feel left out.

    If you don't need the spot, its a wise move. Most leagues have people stashing away guys like Delmon Young knowing he's taking up a total roster spot, not just a DL slot.

    Nice generalizations. As someone who isn't incredibly handy working at a Home Improvement store, I sometimes feel out of place. Then again, I don't work a department where Product Knowledge is critical. I work the service area where my primary objective is to be the battering ram for people's frustrations. There are a lot of people at my HD who are very knowledgable and they are those darn "pinhead" college student ages.

    That's encouraging, but why do I get the feeling that Cedeno wont be playing in both of the next two games? Because one of Neifi's MANY talents is that he's a switch hitter :(
