  1. 200's suck generally past the eighth row. Reason is you start to get the UD overhang, and if you're in the last few rows of the TR, you might as well not waste your money.
  2. What's the point of a six team league? And which stats do you need more? That should be your answer.
  3. But he still produces, though. Produces what in comparison to what he makes? Derek Jeter= .309 .389 .450 Carlos Guillen= .320 .368 .434 Derek Jeter last year= $19.6m Carlos Guillen last year= $4m And Carlos had a bad year in 2005 in comparison to his 2004 campaign. What would be the typical exchange monetarily for a guy who provides numbers like .309/.389/.450? Brian Giles provided better numbers than that and his NEW contract only pays him 10m. Jeter makes almost double that. Nice to see Carlos Guillen play half a season for those numbers. Part of a contract is A GUY THAT CAN PLAY EVERYDAY. That's why Kerry's contract sucks. Because he's never healthy. I'm not saying Jeter isn't overpaid, but he at least still is a very productive offensive player compared to some of the other clowns listed here. How many SS out OPS'd Jeter last year? Tejada? Young? And the Yankees can afford to spend their money like that. They overpay everybody, its not a big deal. It only costs them more in the luxury tax.
  4. But he still produces, though.
  5. That kind of stuff happens everyday in the bleachers at Wrigley. (or at least the many times I've sat there) Far worse.
  6. My expectations in dealing Papelbon are much higher than that.
  7. Edmonds is a douche and always will be a douche. I'd love to see him decline into oblivion.
  8. Anything to get Ryan Freel on the field everyday :D
  9. Z really needs to become more economical with his pitches. Otherwise, Dusty will raze him into the ground at some point this year.
  10. Mark Cuban would be a god in Chicago. He's all about ego, and what bigger ego trip would it be to end the Cub drought? He'd kill for that spotlight. That might be the biggest "high" left in sports.
  11. He loves Chicago since Wrigley is so close to..... never mind ;)
  12. CUBS WIN! CUBS WIN! CUBS WIN!
  13. What was he, 1-9? Yeah, they didn't even show his avg before the game...just showed him 1-8... And if he gets hits in his next three AB's, the Lofton apologists will come out saying, "see he doesn't suck!" and the BABIP police will come out with the "sample size" argument ;)
  14. Sounds like Saenz is crushing the ball.
  15. Walker with the Adam Dunn special!
  16. SPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED KEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELS!
  17. This game might be over before everyone needs to get some reasonable shut eye!
  18. One might be enough for Maddux lately :D
  19. BULLS BULLS BULLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. Its not impossible considering the really deep dimensions in Comerica. If he ends up at 6 or 7, that'd be awesome.
  21. I think the Bulls could hold their own with the Nets or the Cavs. Bulls perimeter defense is really strong and Noc could keep LeBron in check (ie not have him shoot a ridiculously high %) or with Vinsanity. The Bulls matchup well with the Nets.
