I'd trade damn near any combination of 5 players not named Murton, Cedeno, Ramirez, Lee, Barrett, Prior, Wood, Zambrano or Marshall. ANY combination. I'm pretty sure I'd throw Marshall into a deal for a stud like Cabrera. Marshall's value is at its absolute peak right now. Coming into the spring he wasn't even considered for a rotation spot. He's enjoying some not so expected success. He's shown enough this season that I wouldn't consider him in some of the deals I would have this past offseason. But you shouldn't let 2 months completely change your view of a player. If Marshall is the hangup in a Cabrera deal, and some of the other pitchers are coming around by then, I'd most likely include him. I'd agree with that...he'd be one I'd rather not let go...but if that's what it took...I'd probably do it...I'd say the same thing about Wood and Barrett...but the Marlins aren't going to want any of those guys because they make $$. Basically, I was trying to get accross the point that there is almost nothing I wouldn't give for a young guy like Cabrerra....and then I'd sign him to a 5-6 year deal at about 13-15 and forget about Left Field for a while.
