Dempster is one of the few bright spots of this team. He deserves the raise.

it also depends on what the big club needs. if a CF is needed then a player is rushed to the majors to fill that need. or if they want to have an extra year before arbitration then they can put him in AAA for the first month of the season.

I think the rule is a team with a better record can't block, but after August 31st the player isn't eligible for postseason rosters.

Astros' lead down to one we play them 4 more times how great would it be to knock them out of the playoffs? Of course they could clinch against us just like the Cardinals.

This guy offered me Mike Anderson, Willie Parker, and Brett Favre for Carson Palmer and Chargers DST. Our league's scoring heavily favors the QB and WR. Bonus points for long TD passes/catches and, -5 for an INT and 6 for TD, so interceptions hurt. plus this is a keeper league, we keep 3. I am weak at RB but not that weak to get 2 RBBC types. When Staley and Bettis come back Parker will be sharing carries. Mike Anderson is already sharing carries. and Favre is old and throws too many INT's. Am I overvalueing Carson Palmer? I am thinking he will be one of my keepers.
