    GO PURDUE!!! beat the Arizona Wildcats. I have been looking forward to this one ever since I moved to Tucson 4 years ago.

    The Cards already clinched the division, they clinched a tie but they own the tiebreaker. If the Astros match St. Louis' current win total they are guaranteed the wild card. Maybe the Cards will be hungover for this one.

    looking up the rules rules on SUSPENDED GAMES basically it says that since it was a game that was more than 5 innings and the game was called it is over since the Cardinals didn't tie or take the lead in their half of the inning.

    I just don't know all the obscure rules but I have been watching baseball for a while (32 yo). Tell me the rule instead of telling me that I am wrong.

    I think all "visiting" fans should have their team of preference in their signature or name or location, because when pronouns are used in a post sometimes I am not sure who they are talking about.

    Ya, game threads keep getting shorter and shorter.... It is either the fact that people have lost intrest in the season or Flashchat is over loaded! school eats up a lot of the kids' free time

    I counted six, I may be wrong. But hey, six starts gives him two more chances, granted it isn't much, but it's something. assuming a 5 man rotation , give Zambrano and Prior extra days off with the off days. could squeeze an extra start in there by skipping a guy.

    I am rooting for him to get 15 wins. It's kind of hopeless, he needs 4 wins and has maybe 5 starts left.

    what ever happened to Lewis and Fontenot? I figured they would be a cheap option as a 2B platoon. I say go cheap up the middle and spend some money on corner OF via trade or free agency.
