    If the home team wins after the top of the ninth they usually have a celebration at the mound. When the road team wins after the bottom of the ninth the same thing happens. When the home team wins in the bottom of the ninth the defense is for the losing team is still on the field and they don't celebrate a loss so they "walk off".

    It's all over the news here in Arizona. After the D-Backs took 3 out of 4 from the Cubs and the Reds swept the Padres, the D-Backs are in first place with an under .500 record.

    I grew up with the nameless home jerseys and hated it when they added names. I got used to it. I like the home whites without names but I think the blues don't look as good without names

    I wonder if this is more of a if Nomar can't come back contingency, Soriano can play SS or LF.

    If Pie is the starting CF next year, he won't be a good leadoff option. I think he will struggle at first and he doesn't have a great OBP to begin with. Greenburg would be a good option to lead off and play CF.

There are enough situations to get on Hollandsworth and Dusty about, you don't need to be incorrect to do it. Jeez, no need to have a tizzy, I forgot about the double switch. Ridiculous and wrong? Anyone with eyes can see that Hollandsworth has not helped much. Aparrently you have not watched the Cubs much this year. From your signature I see that you love both Dusty and Hollandsworth

    The way you phrased this (even though it is a quote from the article) does not convey the fact that this is what one writer THINKS should happen. It is by no way even yet a rumor. How bad for the Cubs would it be if the Astros added an impact bat?
