  1. I can't see how anybody would put OSU ahead of UL. It would totally suck for both Louisville AND Michigan. Michigan would of beaten OSU at Columbus and then have to follow it up with another win over OSU to win the NC, thats pretty ridiculous. If Michigan doesnt win on Nov 18 and even if the game is close they do not deserve another chance either (unless Texas is next in line, Texas wont move in front of UL unless they lose). They had their chance and blew it, the way the system is set up they need to live with it and move on and let someone else have a crack at OSU like UL. That true, if Texas is near the 2nd team and Ohio State is the one, what gives Texas the chance for a rematch and not Michigan. They had their shot, now it's Louisvilles turn if they run the table.
  2. It looks like Ron Washington is going to be the new manager of the Texas Rangers according to ESPN. http://www.sportsline.com/mlb/story/9782616
  3. What worries me is if Michigan beats Ohio State and Louisville continues to win who is going to be number 2.
  4. Oh wow, thanks for reminding me of one of Cuban's funniest gags..I could just see Dusty managing a Dairy Queen like Cuban did :D The special of the week.... Seabass Float!
  5. UK progressed enough and has the luxury of an extra fluff game as well as some down years from 3 SEC schools (espec. UGA) to get there. But, Uk and Vandy aren't that far off and should be a close game, I'm worried about a letdown. Well good luck to ya UK. Vandy is a pretty scrappy team and I don't think for a second that Kentucky is going to have a letdown against them, they just can't let that type of thing happen at this stage even after the big Georgia win.
  6. My question to you is why do they have to prove it after beating Auburn? These voters are just too ignorant to admit they were wrong in the first place IMO. Well, until SC, they had subsequently beaten up bad teams. SEMO, Ole Miss, and LA-Monroe didn't get anybody excited or answer a lot of questions, and they hadn't been remarkably impressive beforel the Auburn game. SC was the toughest matchup since the Auburn game. I agree their schedule isn't steller but crushing Auburn in Auburn showed me something. That game was dominated by Arkansas, not just won by turnovers and a last second field goal. You beat a team like that and they still vote you 5 to 7 places behind, you can't tell me something isn't fishy here. Arkansas is the ugly redhaired stepchild to the SEC. I'll take 5 to 7 spots when they were previously 30 spots behind, and I can't blame people for being cautious with their voting when I feel the same way about this Hogs team. If they beat Tennessee as they are capable of, then I really get behind them as a top 6 or 7 team. At least they get a chance to do it on the field, very true. Go Hogs!
  7. But they also have lost to Navy, San Diego State, and BYU. Air Force can't throw the ball(they have two backs with more rushing yards than their QB has passing yards) if they fall behind either. True....gotta stay ahead then don't they!
  8. They're pretty arrogant aren't they?
  9. If this happens should I expect to see a mushroom cloud soon after?
  10. Air Force vs ND is far from a mismatch IMO. They should have beaten Tennessee.

  12. I remember another Bear team that had their only loss be at the hands of the Dolphins.

  14. Just pitch him when the wind is blowing in then!
  15. The win wasnt pretty but they most definetly didnt struggle. The had over 500 of total yards on offense. Ball State made 3 really big plays and thats it, take those plays away and Michigan dominated the game. The 2 late scores were with many 2nd and 3rd stringers on the field. This doesnt excuse Texas moving in front of Louisville, im suprised about that. The coaches comments you are referring too pisses me off too. Troy Smith threw for like 100 yards against Illini and they only outgained Illini by like 20 yards. I could argue they struggled more this week than UM. I forgot about Ohio State. They are a good team as is Michigan but I'm sick of the free passes these teams get. I'd like a playoff but I'm sure if they had one they'd have 8 teams from the SEC in it.
  16. He's old, taken steroids and had a wrist injury. If this costs the Cubs Bynum and the Yanks pay a lot of the salary maybe but other than that no.
  17. Looks like the good old boys are still keeping Texas up there. It's good for them to keep Rutgers down too that way it doesn't look as impressive when Louisville beats them. Arkansas is still being robbed too. I was listening to ESPN Gameday yesterday and some goof ex coach admitted he voted Auburn 5 and Arkansas 14th. They asked why it was because he had Auburn winning the whole thing before the season started. They then asked why so far ahead even after Arkansas beat them by 17 in Auburn he said it was personal bias. He actually admitted this. Not facts but personal bias. I'm sick of fighting this type of good old boy networking every year in college football. Michigan struggles against a 3-7 team at home while Louisville beats the #4 team by 10 and yet the Big 10 team stays where they are. I GUARANTEE you if Louisville beat Ball State by that same amount they'd drop like a rock.
  18. QFT. Berman, Tirico and Gary Miller have all gone nuts at times over the last decade. None were fired, but Miller was banished to the west coast. They don't have laws about peeing outside on the west coast?
  19. Rutgers is the worst team in the Big East? Either way, Illinois is playing almost all freshman so its clear they aren't the same team as they were at the beginning of the season. Syracuse did my friend. Rutgers only beat them 33-0.
  20. That was a nice play by the Tenn receiver.
  21. Hmmm...the worst team in the Big East scored 31 points when they played at Illinois.
  22. Look at the two teams that were in the World Series....Mr. Hendry did. That's our Hendry.
  23. Who was the last team that won it all with a young catcher?
  24. Yeah Dusty, that 2003 team was a real drag for you to have to manage that first year. Yep, Dusty is a God when it comes to making a team better. What an ego.
  25. I've never understood those Canadian exchange rates. Give me 100 loonys and 50 twoneys and I'll explain it to you.
