  1. What part of Miami and Kansas St do you think is in the the MAC....really? Those are teams Louisville played. Ohio State doesn't even have to play Wisconsin...that's a joke. Syracuse which hasn't won a Big East game in 2 years went to OT with Iowa and beat Illinois. Rutgers beat Illinois 33-0 while THE Ohio State beats them 17-10? Try looking at facts or does that scare you? If you really think the Big East has any team better than Ohio State, than its really not worth discussing. Your bias is far too strong for any objectivity here. ETA: getting rid of the ridiculous number of people quoted... Did I say that? Where? What I responded to was the ridiculus statement that The Big East was the same as the MAC and I showed why it was better. You Big 10 people....are you ok with Wisconsin and Ohio State not playing this year? If this happened in the Big East where Rutgers and Louisville didn't play the pundits would be screaming.
  2. What were the points? I think the best one is that the Big East beat had one OOC win over a team in the top half of its conference - that being Maryland. Gosh, now I'm watching Lou Holtz on SportsCenter. I swear, his ability to speak is diminishing every passing day. How many does the Big 10/11 have? 2? Wow...that's so much more impressive. How many do the 12 teams in the SEC have? The Big 12? who knows, I don't have a research staff Tennessee beat Cal. No one from the Big 12 has done it but Lee omitted that. I just don't understand why so many people are threatened by the Big East. It's a very talented balanced conference not the best but not the worst either. I just don't understand why other conferences don't get scrutinized as much, do you know? It's all the I-AA opponents. By and large they play a schedule similar to the C-USA or the MAC and still get consideration for the NC game. I'm not sure how Louisville, WVU, or Rutgers would fare in the Big 10 or SEC. They may be middle of the pack ACC or Big 12 teams. What part of Miami and Kansas St do you think is in the the MAC....really? Those are teams Louisville played. 4. They need it, they're way down this year. I thought they were crazy playing all those teams. I could see a few but they played way too many tough teams IMO the past couple of years.

  6. What were the points?
  7. Agreed. I think so too mainly because the game is in Morgantown. I don't see Rutgers pulling it out on the road. We'll see though. Should be a good game. It's the toughest conference in college football! The Big East is the only major coference that has each team play each other. Auburn doesn't play Tennessee and Ohio State didn't play Wisconsin. That's very frustrating for me. If Rutgers beats WV, that means they and Ohio State (if they win) will be the only teams that beat 1 loss teams. Yeah, I see Rutgers moving all the way up to #8 thanks to the gurus and their preseason/old boys polls.
  8. He just turned down 11 a year so he's going to want 14 for 4 at least IMO.
  9. It's nice to see Michigan St not play a powerhouse in their first game for once.
  10. If Louisville wins it's because Rutgers wasn't that good and if Rutgers wins Louisville wasn't that good. Listen to the talking heads tomorrow and this will be the chirp.
  11. Schmidt will go where the money is just like most free agents do.
  12. Hoops, No, I haven't heard any names mentioned. I would imagine that the Yanks are in pretty good bargaining position with Sheffield. I can't imagine since they picked up the option that the Yanks would eat any salary. I wonder if Jones is going to be traded to the Yanks? If not, what are the Cubs going to do with 3 corner OF's unless they are going to move Jones to CF. It better not be Murton going to the Yanks.
  13. That is nice to see and what's even more strange is that they let the teams decide it on the court. What was North Carolina's record last year? 23-8. They were pretty young too weren't they? This ought to be an interesting year.
  14. Yeah. It would be kinda weird for Florida to win the SEC championship title game and Auburn make the NCG because of that. I mean is it a championship game or what? Im sure people from Auburn might argue this but they are just being silly. Arkansas has 2 tough games coming up so Auburn may end up getting the chance to prove it in the title game. Doesn't Arkansas have to lose twice in order to have Auburn win the division?

  16. He was clutch for the Cus at 333!
  17. Thanks....He's almost to Die Hard's age, eh? Could McGehee fill a utilty spot for the Cubs if they overspend for some impact guys?
  18. I believe Tirico was practically stalking a woman that worked there. Much worse than a hug, yet he kept his job. He's been hitting on Chris Berman lately from what I hear. He sneaks up from behind and grabs him, Berman calls him Tip Toe Through the Tulips Tirico.
  19. I wonder if Moore is getting tired. I don't like seeing those numbers drop so fast and that's what I'm hoping it is. Patterson seems to be very well offensively. I wonder if he has a good spring if Hendry would consider keeping him up if he proves he can handle second? It would be nice to have Trammell around to show him the ropes.
  20. How old is Walrond Raisin?
  21. Did he change his delivery to throw that changeup? I don't remember seeing him pitch so I never noticed.
  22. Are you saying the drug testing caused his elbow to blow out? That's not how I read it. I read it as Gange was on HGH and then he blew out his elbow a few seasons later, but not because of the steroids.
  23. "And the New York Knicks get the chance to draft Patrick Ewing."
