    What, Sammy forced Bonds to do what he did? Please. Bonds himself admitted that he was jealous of the attention Sosa/McGwire received and that turned him to the dark side.

    Midnight EST, I'm guessing. The window doesn't exactly close tonight. It just gets harder, more expensive, and if he's re-signed after tonight it counts against the FA quota. So the Cubs would lose their pick to the Cubs? They wouldn't lose a compensation pick to themselves (obviously), but after tonight the signing counts against their limit (4 Type A/Bs) this year. Man a bad joke, I've gotta add a wink next time. This would make it Cubs 101 to have them sign Rameriz after the deadline. 102 is to let him go.

    Sammy was one of the guys that pulled Bonds into the steroid team. McGwire, Sosa and Bonds all juiced up on HGH IMO. Look at Sammys skin was he was younger and after the juice, you can see the pimply crap on it.

    Aram also said he had no intention of opting out of his contract, but we all know how that went. He's got to feed his family. I wonder how much Hendry offered him? Maybe 13 a year and some Bubba Burger coupons.

    Its still very possible. Maybe even probable. Its impossible for us to know whats probable at this point without knowing the minds of Hendry and Ramirez. But according to all that has been said publicly, Hendry wants to keep him and Ramirez wants to stay, so... I don't think it's going to be possible once other teams like the Angels, Red Sox, and Dodgers start throwing offers at him. If it doesn't get done tonight I'm afraid it doesn't get done at all. If those teams throw a lot of money at Ramirez look at how easy it will for the Cubs to re-sign Pierre!

    Maybe I'm bias but I see nothing about Florida that says they are the second best team in the nation. Uhh, I think you mean the third best team. Florida's offense is so gimicky, they shouldn't run so many trick plays. Game tied at 10 with 10:49 left. Somebody has to lose in the Ohio St/ Michigan game...I was thinking BCS Championship game.

    I never get to see the PAC 10 or Big 12. We always get the Big 10 and SEC. I expect you'll be able to see next week's Cal-USC game, but most of the Pac-10 games are locally televised (on FSN) outside of a few USC games and when a team plays a big team out of conference (Cal-Tennessee, Oklahoma-Oregon, UCLA-Notre Dame). Wait...I have FSN. I wonder if they are on. Nope, womans soccer.
