What were the points? I think the best one is that the Big East beat had one OOC win over a team in the top half of its conference - that being Maryland. Gosh, now I'm watching Lou Holtz on SportsCenter. I swear, his ability to speak is diminishing every passing day. How many does the Big 10/11 have? 2? Wow...that's so much more impressive. How many do the 12 teams in the SEC have? The Big 12? who knows, I don't have a research staff Tennessee beat Cal. No one from the Big 12 has done it but Lee omitted that. I just don't understand why so many people are threatened by the Big East. It's a very talented balanced conference not the best but not the worst either. I just don't understand why other conferences don't get scrutinized as much, do you know? It's all the I-AA opponents. By and large they play a schedule similar to the C-USA or the MAC and still get consideration for the NC game. I'm not sure how Louisville, WVU, or Rutgers would fare in the Big 10 or SEC. They may be middle of the pack ACC or Big 12 teams. What part of Miami and Kansas St do you think is in the the MAC....really? Those are teams Louisville played. Ohio State doesn't even have to play Wisconsin...that's a joke. Syracuse which hasn't won a Big East game in 2 years went to OT with Iowa and beat Illinois. Rutgers beat Illinois 33-0 while THE Ohio State beats them 17-10? Try looking at facts or does that scare you?
