  1. IMO, it's almost impossible to play 12 really good games in a row in college football.
  2. OK! OK! Blue Jays! Blue Jays! Lets! Lets! Play! Play! BALL!
  3. calm down, Iowa will find a way to make your lead stand So, what's the score?
  4. Could you swing by here and pick me up first?
  5. The announcers just stated that the receivers were just standing around while Clouson was running looking for someone to throw too. Things like that bother me, you should always hustle and try to get open. God, I wish there was another game on.
  6. The Mets are up 5-0 after 3. If they blow this lead it would be a perfect ending. They are only 1 game down so this also might be a nice little turnaround...if the Phillies ever lose again.
  7. The alum just brought Charlie to Candy Mountain at half time. Ouch. You ought to lay off ND for a while. I feel sorry for them. I haven't really had a chance to watch them play so that's why I'm making the comments that I am. I can't feel sorry for any college team that gets the pub they do. I respect their program but after losing the Heismon to Brown on a team that didn't pass and he just returned kicks for an 8-3 team, no, I don't feel sorry for them and I won't even go to the Paul Horning thing vs Jim Brown. I can understand that. I do feel bad for the fans, though. It was just a couple years ago that Tennessee languished in a 5-6 season where our offense was awful (still not quite this bad though). Interestingly, that season had a Clausen at the helm for much of the year too. Jimmy's older brother Rick. I remember that. I think a team learns a lot about itself having a season like they are. You've got, much like your UT teams, many 5 star kids who are used to dominating and now they're getting their butts kicked. You now get to see who really is football tough and who withers away.

  9. I didn't have a job so I used to go to Wrigley and boo them.

  11. You really thought that? Illinois is a solid team with some nice young talent. key word was "hoping" True. I love college football. Every week brings something exciting and unexpected. Even if Tulane doesn't beat LSU it's pretty cool that they had a first half like this against a very good team.
  12. Maybe Hart could kick them instead?
  13. As much as I dislike the Mets, I'd rather play them than the Phillies.

  15. Mallet's in this drive and he already has Michigan down to the NU 32. He should start just because he has a cooler name.
  16. So Carr likes the vet guy that's been there, eh? Hows Mike doing?
  17. Why did Ty Willingham recruit such awful defensive players? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHAA They made an interesting point during the game about Charlie not playing the kids last year to work them into the lineup and get them ready for this year. I don't know if it's true or not but I thought it may be a valid point.
  18. Iowa's coach reminds me of Coach Pasqualoni when he was here. He gets kids ready for the NFL but for some reason he just can't get over that hump.
  19. Maybe it's because when Joe started coaching the forward pass was illegal.
  20. Penn St answers back with a TD....21-17 Ill
  21. I'm starting to wonder if ND could score if the other team didn't send their defense out to stop them. Purdue is a good team but no defensive juggernaut.
  22. Illinois 21 Penn St 10.
  23. That's fantastic.
  24. How would you guys feel about this if it were at Wrigley and the roles were switched?
  25. No, I really love you man.
