That's a lot of players out. Funny how Manning throws 5 picks with a crappy team. He's a heck of a QB but you have to have talent around you. That's the thing about turf teams, when the elements turn bad you struggle a lot more than most teams. The Pats have a free ride if they play the Colts, especially if the weather turns bad. The thing I would be worried about if I was the Colts is that alot of these injuries sometimes linger, because you either hold a guy out until it's fully healed or else it becomes a "nagging" injury week to week because really, what injuries are there that don't require at least 3-4 weeks to fully, fully heal? That seems to me to be the issue. Once you get the injury bug, it's really hard to get rid of it. And I agree, if the Colts go to the Pats and the weather is bad, it's going to be really tough for them. That defense knows what it means to play in the cold & snow, the Colts can't be ready for that especially if there are lingering injuries. I'd love to see the Chargers beat the Pats in NE. But, with Turner as coach I doubt that would happen. Bellcheck (sp) could sleep through the game and out coach Turner. What hurts the Colts too is playing in that division. They need their players there to win and as you said, if they hurt and playing this will linger and imo I don't see them winning the AFC because of that. Plus, They need home field more than any other team.
