    I don't know, Robin is pretty bad, too. At fighting and managing.

    I think he'd definitely fit well in the lineup. And he'd be no worse in LF than what the Cubs have had. But he'd be a liability during a bench-clearing brawl. Would hate to see him get his ass kicked again by someone like Matt Carpenter or Sean Rodriguez.

    Can someone explain again why Chesny Young is not a higher rated prospect. All the guy does is hit. Another at bat, another hit tonight.Six Ks and 16 BB in almost 80 ABs, too.

    Cubs don't traditionally play well in LA. Mets played on Tuesday, had to travel across country, play a night game on Thursday and then would have to travel across country again only to have to play again on Saturday. Both teams have great starters, but I think the Mets for pitchers would be more likely to wilt under pressure than the Dodger pitchers. Cubs have played well against the Mets this season. Payback for '69. Mets!

    Why does Joe insist on using Strop against the Cardinals? He's probably in after 1 batter by Richard or to start the 7th. Makes no sense...his career numbers against St. Louis are ATROCIOUS!!!!

    And have the third best record in all of baseball, yet sit in third place in their own division and have to rely on a 1-game playoff to try to advance. :(

    Don't know if it means too much due to sample size, but the Cubs probably lineup (not counting the Pitcher) is 26 for 81 against Gerrit Cole, and that's good for a .320 average.

    Derek Norris with a three-run tater, Fathers up 3-1 over the Tall People.

    Looks like he's got this fixed....at least a bit. Two games in a row with a pick off . Should at least keep the other team a bit more honest on the bases.
