    It's not just the raw numbers Soto is posting. Relative to the rest of the PCL he is (before tonight when he went 2-3 with 2 BB's) #1 in avg, #2 in OBP, #1 in Slg, and #1 in OPS. The other names you see at the top of these lists (Jason Botts, Delwyn Young, Joe Dillon), have all been promoted. Is the offense of the Cubs so much better that they don't need the best hitter in the PCL?

    Ho-hum, nothing exciting, just Soto 2-3 so far tonight. I-Cubs tied 3-3 through 5 1/2. Oh, and Craig's 2-2 with a walk.

    Without reading the Inside The Ivy, just from the free blurb at the link I think the "Cubs Prospects Absent" headline refers to Cubs being absent from this year's list of suspended players. The caption for the picture says "Cubs prospects have been in the clear this season".

    Could this be interpreted as attacking the poster (well, all of the posters) and not the post? Oh, and if I had a choice between answering the Santo Williams Banks etc question or just bailing I think I'd vote with my feet as well.

    Can you say "CANCER" No thanks. This years team is all about TEAM. It's pretty clear Lou doesn't like sideshows and feels, despite the #'s, it's counter productive to winning. Have you read any of the reports about the 2007 version of Sosa - model teammate, hard worker, etc, etc?

    Then where is Coats going to play? Are him and Kroeger going to platoon in LF? They're both lefties though. Moore's also a lefty and Craig's a switch hitter. Put him back at SS - he played SS primarily 2003-2005 (I know he's an atrocious SS but to be able to start 8 position players with OPS over .800, who needs defense).
