Maravich set his record in 83 games over 3 seasons. Davis has played 143 games over 5 seasons. The idea of the record being broken because a bad team got invited to some 3rd rate tournament just for the sake of allowing the record to be broken would seem very unsatisfying to all involved. But regardless, great career by Davis the son of legendary IU coach Mike Davis. :hello:

Such a promising season down the drain. Well, actually..... After that PSU loss if you would told me IU would win 6 of the next 7 games with double digit wins over Wisconsin, Illinois, Sparty and also beating Purdue...yeah, no way I would have bought any of that. lol

Or not. #-o Such a promising season down the drain. I get that Xavier and Race both being out is a huge impediment but cripe sake this team was supposed to be deep and that feels like a lie at this point. Should they really be like the 13th best team in the league due to two injuries? Meh.

In the championship of my league and I needed Josh Allen to score a fraction of a point to win, which he has 2.72 now. If the game gets wiped out, I'd lose by 0.03 points. So yeah I am in that situation. Not winning or losing any sizable sum of money either way though. Since both the Bills and Bengals are playing starters today, our league commish decided to just take the week 18 points for the players on those teams to decide the championship. In our league we decided to split the pot.

I'm curious how many people are in a similar spot as this, looking at the status of the game right now. It should be cancelled, even if it costs people thousands of dollars in fantasy winnings. Prepare for a [expletive] getting in and out of that place. I hate it. Scheduled a trolley for 2 hours before kickoff. They showed up 30 minutes late and made it about as far as the Texas Live/Global Life Field area before they gave up and let us off there. But that was close enough to walk to the game with plenty of time to spare. I didn't bother trying to leave the area immediately. Spent a few hours at Texas Live to drink all the overpriced beer I could handle. Good time overall!

I have not been to a game since 2011 and I have tickets to both games of the double-header today.

And a horrible start for IU...yikes!!! First 5 batters reach and it's already 3-0 with nobody out yet. Yeah that game was not pretty lol. IU's starting pitcher had a 10.53 ERA for the season, did not exactly send our best out there. Rutgers lineup looks like a murderer's row based on BA, almost all of them were over .300 and some in the .370 to .390 range. :shock:
