  1. Yeah, not a good look.
  2. Watching the replay of the Sandberg game on the Marquee network. Top of the 10th, Gary Matthews got denied catching a foul ball almost exactly at the Bartman spot. I laughed.
  3. Bears coaching legend Mel Tucker named the head football coach at Michigan State. :P
  4. Perhaps, I have should said adds more fuel to the fire, he's got to be majorly pissed off with this constant narrative, with social media it surrounds him 24/7, who wouldn't be? I don't think trying hard has been the issue. The guy seems motivated to be better. I've never questioned his effort. The issue with Mitch is he is not smart. You can't fix that with inspiration. Agreed. Is there a NFL QB for Dummies book he can read?
  5. The Reds stay annoying.
  6. I had to do a double-take there and confirm this is indeed former IU quarterback Tre Roberson. Interesting. I didn't realize he even still played football.
  7. To the rest of the Big Ten, you are welcome. :stickman: 8-)
  8. horsefeathers the Packers. :stickman:
  9. Now tied with Northwestern for the basement. :-" There are three ranked teams in the bottom 5 of the big ten. I noticed that, lol. Although PSU dropped out with the latest set of rankings released today.
  10. Nope. It is kind of crazy right now.
  11. Now tied with Northwestern for the basement. :-"
  12. What happened in the last 2 minutes of the 1st half? I had the game on in the background but wasn't paying much attention.
  13. I'm picking OSU (not that I want to), but I think Fields' knee injury is a legitimate concern. If he's slow and cant be as mobile, a lot of what makes their offense great will be affected imo. Clemson hasn’t faced a defense anywhere close to what OSU is rolling out there. I don’t get why all the “experts” are picking Clemson Obviously you overlooked the 'favor of gawd!!!!'. /Dabo
  14. MVP! MVP! :stickman:  :hello:
  15. Not in favor of getting rid of Harbaugh so we can go get the next Brady Hoke or something. Look this sucks. It sucks losing to them every year. Harbaugh definitely deserves some blame. But I think it would be foolish to get rid of him. He has mostly stabilized the program to the level it was at when Carr was coaching (outside of 1997 they were an annual 2-4 loss program) except in one area. I’m not saying we should accept 2-4 loss teams but it could be a lot worse and I think with the right coordinators we can improve as a program. Don’t get me wrong, beating OSU is important, and it’s possible he is Michigan’s version of Cooper and if continues that way ultimately he will pay. But I wouldn’t can him right now just to can him. If Saban calls and wants to coach here, sure. But I’d rather see if Harbaugh can get over the hump while maintaining a consistently good team. He was a better spot away from doing it in 2016 but didn’t get it. That said, 15 out of 16 is insane. Michigan should at least be able to win at a rate that Auburn does over Alabama which is roughly once every 4 years Yeah unless you can get Saban or Meyer I would not be looking to replace Harbaugh.
  16. Indiana avoids the massive choke and beats Purdue for a 8-4, 5-4 finish. Both bests since 1993 and they have the opportunity to win a school record 9 games in a bowl now. :flythew: :stickman:
  17. Such a weird matchup. I loathe playing Indiana because of how crazy all their games are but like you’ve pointed out somehow Michigan manages to win every time. Well, that was anti-climatic. Michigan is on quite the roll. IU is still looking at a 8-4 season if they beat Purdue and 9-4 if they can win a bowl game. Not sure IU has won as many as 9 games since the 1967 Rose Bowl team. Guessing not.
  18. Hopeful that today is the day IU can finally beat Michigan for the first time since 1987. We have been giving them fits for a number of years now but can never quite get the W. Michigan comes in playing really well though.
  19. What you did there, I see it!
  20. I would trust him to execute a simple hand-off, yes. Seeing as how that is one thing I cannot recall the last time he screwed that up. It’s about more than just fumbling, though. The OL sucks and they would know a run is coming. Who’s to say we don’t lose 2-3 yards trying to run at that point? I hate Nagy and his play calling but the kneel down didn’t lose the game. I never said the kneel down lost the game.
  21. That wasn't a hand-off though. With the game in balance would you trust your mentally fragile, low football IQ OB to successfully execute anything? I would trust him to execute a simple hand-off, yes. Seeing as how that is one thing I cannot recall the last time he screwed that up.
  22. Watching his post-game presser right now. That is the first thing he was asked about (not trying to get more yards) and he was completely dismissive of the question. Did not want to risk a fumble. Given you've got a QB who, earlier just dropped the ball, that's probably a legitimate concern. That wasn't a hand-off though.
  23. Watching his post-game presser right now. That is the first thing he was asked about (not trying to get more yards) and he was completely dismissive of the question. Did not want to risk a fumble.
  24. Two teams desperately trying out-suck each other.
  25. Well, that drive went a lot better! :stickman:
