    That is awful. It is difficult to see anyone go through that. His condition seems to be progressing rapidly and I wouldn't be surprised if that sit down session is the last time we see him. I hope his family can get the help they need to take care of him. The video of that interview was tough to watch. :cry: I was listening to Waddle & Silvy this afternoon and Mongo's wife called in and he woke up from a nap during the call and got on the phone as well. It got me pretty emotional, I just can't imagine anyone having to go through that disease. I am glad he is getting a lot of love and support from former teammates right now and now from the fans since it is public now.

    I am in favor of more games against the Pirates. Maybe just replace 100 games against other teams with games against them. :clapping:

    I’m not going to overreact to a weeks worth of games or anything but it’s not like 2016 or 2017 where we knew the Cubs were an amazing team and they’d get it together. I don’t think this team will be terrible (unless they are sellers in July) and there are some promising signs like the pitching overall but no lock that they will end up being good Yeah at worst I figure they will tread around the .500 mark unless they start selling off as you say.
