    Tell me why you would want Joe Torre managing this team? The guy has had an all star team for the past 6 years and has won 1 WS. He was an average to below average manager before the Yankees, just ask St Louis fans how they feel about him. Plain and simple Joe Torre is not a very good manager, and would be a terrible choice for the Cubs. Please retire Joe.

    Please please please tell me why in the hell anybody would want Joe Torre manging the Cubs? Outside of New York where he has been managing an all star team, Joe Torre has been an average to below average manager. Just say no to Torre.

    But that could very well lead to Joe Torre taking Piniella's place in Hendrys plan. I dont know which one is worse for the Cubs to hire, Torre or Piniella. Both of them are not good managers.

    Add this in with MacPhail quitting, and the Bears win, I dont know if this day can get much better.

    WOW what can be said about tonights game except for DOMINATION! The D got into Hasslebacks head early, and it showed for the rest of the game. Grossman just keeps impressing, and the run game got started later in the game. This team looks scary good right now. Tommie Harris will prob be NFL defensive player of the week, he caused hell all game. WOW, this team is good.

    On the replay, it looked legit. If he wasn't interfered with, he could have been able to jump more vertically. It was still catchable. McKie has a hand injury and Mushin is also out. Whats wrong with Mush?

    His use of the bullpen is just one of many many bigger problems that people have with Baker. His lineup construction is absolutely piss poor, no other way to put it. His handling and playing of veterans who suck is piss poor there is no other way to put it. Those are the 2 main problems I have with Baker, and there is noway in hell he should be back. GOOD RIDDANCE
