    OleMiss, I Understand you werent trolling. I have read enough of your posts to know that. But in a Bears gamethread it gets a little annoying when people are "bragging" up another team. Just like if it was a Cards fan in a Cubs gamethread. Im ready to let it die, and GO Bears.

    They needed two scores anyway? The field goal Im talking about was in the 4th quarter with 3 mins left in the game. They were down 17-10 and on the 20 or so. If they go for the 4th and 7(i think) and they get it, then they more than likely score a TD to tie the game. If they miss it they essentially do what they did by kicking a field goal and put NE pushed back. So what really was the point of the field goal? Did Lovie actually think they could stop them and then get the ball with around 2 mins left or so and drive the field? If so hes an idiot, cause all day long the Bears needed long 10 plus play drives to move the ball to the other end. So if you are already in the red zone then just go for it plain and simple.

    M aybe this has already been mentioned but why in the hell did they kick the pointless field goal? If they go for it and dont get it, then the Pats are still pinned back, so why not take the chance? Stupid pointless fieldgoal.

    I am so tired of this "no whining" rule. If the refs equally enforced it and T'd up every person who opened their mouth then fine, but this picking and choosing is getting BS. The refs wont T up the "stars" when they bitch about every damn call against them, but let one of the Bulls open their mouth, and its automatically a T. I LOATHE the NBA refs!

    If Hester would have been tackled when he ran it out that is where they would have got the ball. It was a huge risk and Hester said the only reason he brought it out was because he seen the Bears have a wall lined up, and the Giants players with their head down walking off the field. Said if they would have been coming towards him he would have downed it no question at all. As for Lovie, I think he was just joking around with the media. Wow I didn't realize what a huge risk it was. That makes it even more amazing! Yea, they had the ball at the 42 if he had just downed it. If he had brought that out and been tackled at the 10 or something, I think he might have never been allowed back in Chicago. But he is amazing.
