  1. WOOOOO Lets sweep these sob's on Sunday, damn I hate the Heat. Dirty cheap shotting punks, that cant handle losing at all.
  2. I said meaningless situations (didn't I?), which implies lack of production as mostly a middle of the order hitter. Jacque Jones is hitting to the tune of .188/.350/.188 with runners in scoring position, with a torrid .176/.176/.176 when the team needed him the most (5th slot, sample size be damned). In addition, he's dead last amongst starting NL right fielders in RBIs, total bases and extra base hits, and next-to-last in RBI chances and OPS (zero HRs) - all this to a player that shouldn't be a starter in this league, ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Randy Winn. If it wasn't for that hit with the bases loaded against the Cards, he'd have been hands down the worst hitting outfielder in the majors with more than 80 plate appearances. Oh ok so now I understand. You are talking bout those "clutch" hits huh? You are talking about Jones on this post but your first post you talk about Murton not getting hits in meaningful situations. And as for Jones yea hes not the greatest but how can you say that he is last in RBI's for right fielders and the go on to say he is next to last in RBI chances? Wouldnt it be pretty hard to be high up on the list of RBI's for a right fielder, if you dont ever get any RBI chances?
  3. So when exactly is it that hits are meaningless? Do you have proof of this? Quite frankly thats just a ridiculous comment.
  4. kick posys stupid ass out of this series. what a stupid ass lil punk
  5. WOW the Bulls are moving the ball great, got BG the wide open 3
  6. OMG what a bs call! They hardly touched him! Thats ridiculous Next time level that cheap shot son of a
  7. WOOOOO up 16 baby, dont let up! Bury these whining little babys!
  8. I LOVE YOU NOC!!!!!!!!!
  9. BG for 3!Oh and Rich Hill is kinda good!
  10. Number 1 on Shaq!
  11. Z is to blame for the loss as well. I know he only gave up 2 runs, but he is supposed to be an ace. An ace takes you into the 7th or 8th inning and doesnt make your bullpen have to sustain a lead for 4 2/3 innings.
  12. It's pretty hard to hide them when your ace only goes 5.1 innings. Rich Hill didnt pitch last night, he pitches tonight. Z is FAR FAR Far from being an Ace. An ace doesnt average less than 6 innings per start. Or walk 4 batters per game.
  13. ESPN just reported the Yankees have called up Hughes to start on Thurs
  14. Jesus these announcers are really annoying the hell out of me. Walton sucks and the other 2 are just blatantly rooting against the Bulls. God I miss Kerr
  15. To me, since Ramirez is out then the only way to make a "decent" lineup is to move Soriano to 4th. Let Theriot leadoff and either Barret Jones or Floyd hit 2nd 3rd Lee 4th Soriano 5th and 6th whoever isnt hitting 2nd 7thDerosa 8th Izturis 9th Pitcher I know Soriano wants to leadoff but for the better of the team until Ramirez comes back he should understand its best for the team
  16. Because Lou messed up by pinch hitting with Murton earler and leaving himself with only Ward(lefty) and Blanco on the bench to ph. Ward shouldve pinch hit with Ward first but Lou didnt think that far ahead and see the possible Stanton Jones matchup.
  17. Ervin Santana + blue chip prospect + mid level prospect? That would kick ass. So would Billingsley + Betemit + Elbert. Not that I'm actually suggesting trading Z, but it wouldn't be the first time. I think I suggested it twice last season and once during the offseason on this board. Its an option that the longer he goes w/o re-signing, becomes more of a reality. I'm for it. I agree. There is noway I would give Z 90-100 mill contract right now. An ace doesnt walk 4 batters per game, and blow 5 run leads. If the Cubs continue sucking, I would have no problem trading Z for one hell of a package. because someone is going to offer a package of blue chip prospects for a pitcher who walks 4 batters per game and blows 5 run leads? Teams will pay the prospects thinking they can be the team to get Z to harness his control guaranteed. Z has the talent and teams know that, so somebody would be willing to think they can be that guy who fixed him

  19. Its not called being bipolar. Its called not wanting to give a guy 90-100mill who cannot consistenly throw strikes. Zambrano is not an ace when walking 4 batters per outing.
  20. Agreed...trade him while his value is high. I'm not overreacting...I'm basing it on the fact that he will always be shaky because his BB rates will always be high then you would cry when he does well somewhere else Ya cause you know me so damn good huh.
  21. Agreed...trade him while his value is high. I'm not overreacting...I'm basing it on the fact that he will always be shaky because his BB rates will always be high I cant say I disagree. If he can net us an Arod or something of that caliber then do it. The guy just cant throw strikes. Way to freaking go Ohman. Jesus Christ. Different year same damn team.
  22. It sure would be nice if Zambrano would act like the supposed "ace" of our rotation, and the guy who wants 90mill. Im bout to the point where hes not worth it, he cant consistently throw strikes enough to be worht that big of a contract Im sorry.
  23. Umm Theriot is a hell of alot better than Neifi. And you might want to check your facts before ranting. Cedeno is at 2nd Theriot is at 3rd. Aram is hurt.
  24. Any word on how he's doing? Supposedly he is also going to be examined by the Dr's today along with Prior according to WSCR.
