    Just announced on espn news the deal is apparently for 3yrs around 3 million per year.

    If Ichiro was 12.5 mil, I submit a 15mil bid for him. If its not enough then that sucks but at least they tried.

    I love seeing these NFC teams(Philly and Wash) lose. The Bears could have HFA wrapped up pretty early.

    I hate you! Not really but I am really jealous. I cant wait for this season to start, should be a real fun season to be a Bulls fan. When is opening night and who do we play?

    Anderson probably won't get ROY because of Reggie Bush, but he should at least get some consideration IMO. Dont they have defensive rookie of the years?

    Yea we heard that Baker was a big draw for free agents to, and how many top notch free agents came to the Cubs while he was here? And the statement about Torre being a big draw in the ticket office and that is a reason the Cubs should hire him is absolutely ridiculous. The Cubs sell out every year regardless of who the manager is. And the managers "marketabillity" should have no bearing on whether the Cubs hire him or not. Torre underachieved while in New York, and he led St Louis into the ground while there. I never said the Yanks troubles were all Torres fault, but with the teams hes had they should have more WS championships. And as for him managing better on the northside without the pressure, thats ridiculous as well. Lets all hope and pray Torre retires, because he is vastly overrated as a manager.

    Jones making some really good moves out there today. If Im the bears I just keep handing him the ball. The playaction is going to be wide open in the 2nd half. I dont like the half back pass at the goal line!

    Thats a really cool idea, but since they are in Chicago, the donations should all go to Derrek Lees foundation he set up for his daughter. That would be a really awesome idea.
