Wait so Fukudome isn't a baseball player? Is he a soccer player? Or maybe he's a football player? I need to find out exactly what Fukudome is because even though the Cubs are a shitty baseball team, I'm pretty sure all the guys on the team are still baseball players. -

I don't know if I'd call a .254 average with 27 RBI over the three summer months "killing" it. Where did he say 3 summer months? July+August= 2 months of said "killing it". -
I think he makes a great point. I think this proposal has already set sail, and I don't see this deal getting done. Not true. I dont think they could announce this trade till July 1 cause of the salary cap. Pretty sure thats what was said on RealGm I don't understand, trades happen all the time before, during, and after the draft. This is what I was talking about.

There are more days in June that aren't summer than there are that is summer. 20 days are "spring" 10 days are summer. -

I can see that, but I bet the O's try and make a play for him. He was decent at managing young talent, and the O's are filled with young talent who are underachieving big time. Im sure Baltimore will try makeing a play for him, but if I had to guess Freddi doesn't accept any job until he hears from the Braves that they aren't interested in bringing him back to the organization. Sounds like Bobby V is the top candidate for the Marlins job

Must be nice to have a front office not happy with how your team is playing and make changes. With that said, Im guessing the Braves just got their replacement for Bobby Cox when he leaves at the end of the year.

I mean [expletive], why are we facing all these pitchers? [expletive] Hey, you were the one who made the comment about being shut out after scoring 12 runs as if its some kind of mind blowing oddity. Wtf are you talking about? All I said is anyone actually surprised they got shut out, and then you said something about it "getting you" when people act surprised, which NOBODY did.

Actually, hoping they fall out of it so they don't become buyers would seemingly indicate a change DOESN'T need to be made right now, right? I'm with you on the latter part, but God forbid something like Lou quitting/getting fired is followed by them going on something like a 12-15 streak. It does happen when a change of manager fires up a team, IE the 2009 Rockies. Still, if the Cubs are going to have any chance of any kind of hot streak, a healthy, productive Aramis Ramirez will be the key to it far more than the manager. Then again, we spent most of 2009 saying that as well. All the same, Pinealla does need to go. He pretty much sums it up every time he says hes tried everything and is out of answers. Maybe the answer is resigning. Yea the reason why the Rockies started winning was because of the change in managers....

OK, you've got to slow down. This is just too complicated and revolutionary. You dont have to be sarcastic about it. Oh wait you do, but it gets me when people are surprised when the same team who scores 10+ runs 1 game can ge shut out or only score 1 or 2 the next. Its baseball. Happens all the time. Cubs were able to beat up on a struggling Joe Saunders, but then they face Jason Vargas, whose been great all season and get shut down. Sometimes bad hitting will beat bad pitching, but more often than not, good pitching will embarass bad hitting. Who was surprised? You're just stating the painfully obvious. Seriously, not one person here has acted surprised, yet we have WSR saying it gets him when people are surprised wtf. Nobody in this thread has acted surprised at all.

Len and Bob said in tonight's game that A-Ram will be back Friday. He will be working with Rudy Jaramillo in the meantime. WHAT! Noway! Everybody has told me that ARam is above working with Jaramillo, so that can't be true.
