  1. With the guy who can't hit righties, Z and Soriano up? Umm ok we score next inning book it.
  2. Where the eff is this damn strike zone?
  3. I understand there are times to swing at the 1st pitch, but when the pitcher just walked the previous batter, that is not one of those times.
  4. I think its hilarious Hosak is calling people homers, when he is probably the biggest homer, and SEC homer(now that Meph is gone) on this board.
  5. Dont forget the part where Soriano walked right in front of Theriot, and then Theriot swings at the 1st pitch. Smart Ryan smart. It was a good pitch to hit, and with the bases loaded you're supposed to look to swing at the first pitch. It's not like Park walked Soriano on 4 straight pitches nowhere near the zone either. With the bases loaded you are supposed to swing at the first pitch, huh? Since when is this a rule? Every "ball" he threw to Soriano was not close to the zone, hence Soriano walking, had they been close you know Sori would have been hacking.
  6. Howry lol Can we just tell him to stay home until July when he starts pitching good?
  7. Dont forget the part where Soriano walked right in front of Theriot, and then Theriot swings at the 1st pitch. Smart Ryan smart.
  8. 9 steals and 8 caught steals, I wouldnt call that strong, Id call that horrible.
  9. Fireworks after every win! That's what'll draw those fans. Talent on the field? Feh. Where's that Parrot, tell him he's not thrusting enough. Not like it's Lou's fault for taking the Gold Glove first baseman out of the game, or Blanco's for just not coming up with the ball. Definitely all Theriot on that one. Oh Lou definately gets blame for the double switch. However, Lees glove has saved Theriots noodle arm all season. It takes all he has to get the ball over to 1st base. Lee scopes that ball more than likely, but a ML caliber SS makes that routine throw no problem, instead of bouncing it in the first place. There is no excuse for Cedeno not to be at SS when they are both in the game at the same time.
  10. Nice double switch Lou. Blanco at 1st?Haha Oh and could you stop playing our better defensive SS at 2nd freaking base when he is in the game at the same time as noodle arm Theriot?
  11. And Theriots noodle ass arm finally costs us a game. Maybe if we would quit playing our better defensive SS at 2nd when he is the game at the same time, the inning wouldnt have happened.
  12. Beasley is obviously the devil. Unlike kids who are out smoking crack and getting into real trouble, he had a little fun that went too far. Tell me you didn't do the same when you were a kid. People think Rose is a saint. Here is an in college incident involvingNeither Rose (Beasley has none of these) http://www.memphisrap.com/cgi-bin/content/pub9990263694155.cgi?itemid=9990285813644 Neither of these guys are bad kids. Both have made mistakes, Beasley's are more numerous and more publicized. Fighting with another guy over a girl=being a kid. Spray painting grafiiti, placing dead rats on a teachers desk, and allegedly slashing tires.....not so much. If you cant see the difference I dont know what to tell you.
  13. Rose eats gummy bears. What a horrible kid! I heard gummy bears are worse than crack, I wish Rose would just start writing his name in spraypaint places, and put a dead rat on his teachers desk so he could be a normal kid instead of a gummy bear eating, fatty.
  14. The excuse making for Beasleys behavior in this thread by a couple people is absurd. But the grasping for straws to try and make Rose sound like a bad kid is even more absurd.
  15. While I agree with basically evertything you said, Soriano has the best arm.
  16. People are saying bad things about a Cubs player who performed badly. That's almost entirely unexpected on a Cubs message board. Its a little over the top, youd think Gallagher kicked some of these peoples dogs the way they are acting.
  17. Aram has been the same way for years it seems. Once the weather heats up, so does Aram, and usually Soriano(although hes a little ahead of that schedule now).
  18. Well, that was quite the "throw" from DeRo lol
  19. Sweet I just looked at the schedule and there isnt another WCIU game for the rest of the month. I hate that damn channel
  20. Dont worry as soon as we blow it open Marquis will do his best to blow it
  21. Not sure where the difference in numbers is Fred, because everything you have is the same as Yahoo, execpt you have Reed scoring 1 more run against a lefty than yahoo does. Other than that everything is the same except the avg slug obp ops are different, weird.
  22. Yea I edited my post acknowledging the career numbers. Well I hope he starts turning it on, because as a Cub, hes been pretty bad.
