Where the Cower talk gets me interested is when he says "Texans and Bears". Id be all for Cower taking the Texans job, and hiring Kubiak as our OC. The likelihood of Kubiak getting fired seems to be more possible as they were really hoping for a playoff push this year, and they have lost a lot of close games. I could see Texans ownership wanting to show their fans they are "committed to winning" by hiring a big name like Cower.

I think people have been saying this for a few weeks cause Jay has to check his numbers every time the defense is on the field. People think that because he does it a lot he must be having some problem. Yeah, it's stupid. Reporters are always looking for some inside scoop, even if they look ridiculous. What did Jay say in response? He blew it off and said his diabetes have no effect on his play, and they stay on top of it, almost to a fault. Basically said its ridiculous.

I missed it, what he say? He said he'd sometimes think about deferring when winning the coin toss in overtime. Ahh ok lol. Easy for him to say now that hes not coaching but he wouldnt have done it when he was coaching.

That was a perfect call. It might have lost the Bears the game. Them running something intermediate might have lost them the game too. That was the right call. The call didn't lose the game. The execution did. As has been said before, you have to look at what your QB has done up to this point. There was a greater probability of completing a 7 yarder than a 40 yarder. The WR was WIDE [expletive] OPEN how can you bitch about the play call. Isn't that the goal? Every QB in the league can complete that throw with regularity, but it didnt happen this time. I hate Ron Turner and I hate defending him, but god damn that was the perfect call. Your fastest WR in single coverage vs a gimp ass CB. Come on

With a good throw you have a touchdown. but he's shown all night he cant make the good throw how many wide open touchdowns has cutler missed tonight? i can think of at least 3 You have to trust him to make that throw. Nothing wrong at all with that call. 1st down Philly
