Id be happy as hell for a Cower/Kubiak combo. Even without Cower, Im hoping Kubiak gets the OC job over anybody else out there.

Isnt Shanahan an offensive guy though? If he were to come here I have a feeling he would control most of the offense, and not let Kubiak have much say. Id be in favor of a Cower/Kubiak package. Let Cower worry about the D, and let Kubiak worry about the offense.

I know how I'd feel, and it's not very good. He's not a big believer in running the ball or protecting the QB. So, the Bears would basically be a better version of what they are now. Thats basically how I feel. Yea he was the OC of some good/great offenses in Stl, but he had a crapload of weapons also. I think I'd rather have Kubiak if he becomes available.

I really don't know how I'd feel about Mike Martz as OC.

He was trying to drag him back to, perhaps, affect the spot of the ball. I love Cortland, but can see how non-Titan fans wouldn't like him. The whistle had already blown there was really no reason for him doing what he was doing. But yea, I just think hes an ass, but like you said, if he was on my time Id probably like him.

I don't see it happening either. I'm guessing Lovie and Jerry get one last chance to make it work with a new OC next season. Turner will probably take the fall for the problems this year but I think that creates a tough situation. The only way you attract a sought after OC with Lovie's situation is if you give him a 3-year contract that has a big buyout. Then if Lovie gets canned next year you have no idea if the new head coach will want him. So you could add another heavy buyout and force Cutler to enter 2011 working with his 4th Offensive Coordinator in 4 years. Most likely you'd have to hire a retread with few options or a young coach with little experience to replace Turner next year. Is it worth it to have Cutler learning a new offense again and maybe only for a year? If Kubiak is fired Id think hes a big enough "offensive name" that the new head coach would have no problem keeping him on. I may be wrong about that , but thats my thinking. Hell, Kubiak could have a chance to take over for Lovie if he came here.

I dont know why, but I really hate Cortland Finnegan. Seems every time I see him play, hes doing something cheap and dirty. Seriously what the hell was he doing when he grabbed the receivers legs on the play near the end of the game. He had him in a wheel barrow position wtf
