    At this point I think your posts would just be joining the chorus on how much the Cubs suck. Not to mention how awesome Albert Pujols is and how we all love him so much. Is there really any difference between a Cubs and Cards board these days? By August, there will be dozens of posts about how awful world-class cities are when you can live in an overgrown Peoria on a river.

    I could see that happening. What pressure? Nobody's clamoring for Ryne Sandberg. If the Cubs wanted Sandberg to be their manager, he'd be their manager already. There was a guy on the postgame show on 720 yesterday saying how he's so angry that they didn't hire Sandberg that he doesn't want to take his granddaughter to her first game anymore, or something. They are out there.

    He's a 120 ERA+ starter. We may not get someone's absolute top prospect, but we better get something pretty amazing. Not that it matters, he's not going anywhere until we can effectively trash his value. Break out the Baker Pitcher's Manual for his usage patterns the rest of the year.
