Yep. He saw Vogelbach strike out twice on fastballs, so now he's telling everyone he was behind on velocity. He left the game before Vogelbach doubled and walked in his next two at-bats. He saw Baez homer, though, so he'll love him forever.

It's still a four-run lead. But so much for some nice, no-pressure innings on our mop-up guys. Samardzija completely hit the wall at 80 pitches today. And he ended up going 100+ today, so I fear the next thing his next start.
