With Samardzija pitching one of them. Meanwhile, Lillibridge has managed to produce 12 outs in 11 PAs. I literally could have done better.

Keep in mind it was suggested that KC scoreboard radar readings might be a tad slow because of both starters FB reading yesterday. I'm skeptical of that explanation. Guys just throw a bit slower in the first start in April. -
Look, we needed a reserve infielder and he was already in Dale Sveum's datebook. What more do you want from them?

Stood there and gave the umpire a jerk smile like it was a bad call, but it couldn't have been more down the middle.

Get your glove down *and* get your body in front of it. I didn't mean it as an either/or, Castillo.

Leadoff walk, infielder who is only employed for his defense can't handle a simple steal defense, catcher who keeps trying to hero-play the short-hop instead of getting his glove down finally gets burned on it, then Hairston shows off a total rag-arm. Good team effort on that run.

He would have deserved a HR more if he'd just missed the ball and gotten some loft on it. Hitting it too square means he is undeserving.

Just looking at the PitchFX data, I had no idea that Marmol was hitting 94 and averaging a 93.3 MPH on his fastball. This isn't like last year when the stuff just wasn't there. I'm inclined to see him try to work out of it in low-leverage situations before just setting him on fire.

All it takes is one judge with a weird interpretation. I'm guessing a lot of the language is vague because hammering it out would have made it harder to reach a deal and that was future people's problem.
