Way to battle before showing how worthless you are, Lililbridge. Nice change of pace from your usual one-pitch out or three-pitch flailing K. Showing your famous versatility. I'm guessing Hoyer realizes what a mistake Lillibridge is and attempts to rectify it after the game by acquiring three more fourth outfielders.

Exactly as advertised. Awesome for awhile, then in the fourth he just completely lost it and had no idea where the ball was going.

Seriously. That first strike that Hairston just fouled off was the hangiest hanging curve that ever hanged hangily. We just continually let him get away with bad pitches.

I love how Soriano can look so terrible on a few pitches, then suddenly foul a bunch off, and finally hit the first line drive of the night.

There have been tons of high fastballs and hanging breaking balls this game. Cubs just haven't hit any of them hard.

Rondon was throwing 88-89 MPH according to the TV gun. That's not ideal.

31 pitches through 2 for Rodriguez, 27 for Jackson. If this part of the lineup can just make him throw like 4 pitchers per PA, I'll bet happy.

Apparently McCutchen hit his first HR of the 2010 and 2012 seasons against Jackson.

I love how solid our nothing innings can be right now. Not much of anything happened, but he threw 18 pitches and Rodriguez was fooling no one.
