    I literally can't imagine anything that anyone would offer within the realm of realism that would be worth more to us than 2.5 cost-controlled years of Jeff Samardzija. I mean yeah, if we get like a Bryce Harper, sure. But there's no pile of prospects that I'd want for him.

    I can live with the approach problems so long as raw ability keeps outpacing the leagues he's facing. I can live with a 280/310/500 line from a SS, 3b, 2b or whatever he ends up becoming.
