If Javy makes outs in his next 2 PAs, his OPS drops below .500. Dunston's slash line at Kane County aren't good, but I'm intrigued by 5 BBs and only 3 Ks in 69 PAs.
Yeah. He said basically the loss you get from having more PAs from a worse hitter are roughly balanced out by having a better hitter interact with the top of the lineup. He had it at +2 runs a year, but basically it's so close as to be indeterminable.
I mean, the Wild aren't terrible. They deserve to be down 2-1 and not 3-0. But they don't look remotely capable to me of winning 3 out of 4 against the Blackhawks, other than in the sense that this is hockey and anything can happen if you get enough puck luck.
The subtext of every single interview either side has given has been screaming "we're just saying this because it's good form to act like an extension is still possible right up to the day of the trade."
It's pretty hilarious when people are stretching to find anyone who had a good night on the farm and all we've got is a 19th round catcher and some other college scrubs. Kyle takes things seriously. I wasn't referring to you. I was referring to the minor league thread.
