Gameday Audio won't let me listen to Pat and Ron either. It's telling me there's a "media error" and that I should "try again in a few minutes." It's been telling me that for the past half an hour. It tells me video is not available. I wasn't really expecting any.

I know this is probably their highest server load of the season, but I'm not impressed either. Plus, it seems to be quite a bit behind.

Solo homer gets Venezuela on the board in the bottom of the fifth, 1-0. Boo.

Awesome play: Abreu on 2nd for Venezuela, one out. Deep fly to right, Abreu takes third, rounds it wide and lazies it back toward third. The base coach sees what's happening and starts gesturing wildly for him to get back, but too late and he gets tagged out sliding in to end the inning. 0-0 through four and Italy could very well win this game. (edit: okay, on replay the reason he was lazying back was because he thought there was no one covering, but the pitcher had snuck in behind him backing up the play). And Italy with a leadoff single in the fifth.

Italy leaves another two runners on. They are getting the better of this game right now, but it's still 0-0.

Italy loads the bases but doesn't score in the second, then ends the bottom half of the inning with a nice relay from left-field to cut off a runner trying to stretch a single. Italy looks at least equal to this game.

Italy just misses leading off the second with a HR, instead gets a double off the CF wall.

Italian right-fielder makes an excellent running/diving catch in right-center to save an RBI double.

1) It wasn't bad. 2) I had to watch a commercial just to get to the commercial. :( 3) I think there were more fan shots than game shots and the announcers are the face of the commercial. I hate the zeitgeist of Cubs baseball.

Soto almost walks off by 10-run rule, but it dies at the track.

Puerto Rico pulling away, threatening to 10-run it. Soto just had another single, 2-for-3 with a double and a walk. Ivan Rodriguez is 4-for-4 with two home runs and a double.

Okay, maybe batting I-Rod where they did wasn't so bad...

Rodriguez steals second while Soto is up. Soto starts on 0-2 count, works it to full with a couple foul-offs, takes a good walk.
