  1. Okay, that save probably deserves that cheer.
  2. Well, the good news is that the better team in hockey doesn't always win, and the Blackhawks are the kind of team that can create goals from nothing at any moment.
  3. Are you even watching the game? The blackhawks were outplaying them by quite a bit before the powerplays. This thread has become unreadable with your terrible posts and cynosure. The Blackhawks are going to appear to be outplaying Vancouver a lot, because Vancouver is content to play extremely sound defense, let Luongo make the saves and wait for the Hawks to have defensive breakdowns and penalties, which they will. Hockey is subtle and hard to understand to the unknowledgable fan.
  4. 2-0. Not surprised in the least. Vancouver is a better team than us right now.
  5. Back half of our D = exposed by the Canucks.
  6. Quite a few years ago, actually, and Packers fans didn't notice as his receivers bailed him out. Before he got hurt last year he had a COMP percent of 70. He had 20 tds and his team was 8-3, but im sure his WR bailed him out on that as well. 11 games !> several years
  7. To save money so Hendry could buy other things he wanted, and to get Fontenot more playing time.
  8. Quite a few years ago, actually, and Packers fans didn't notice as his receivers bailed him out.
  9. The Vikings are already the fav to win the divison. So by upgrading at QB they would be ruining their season? Hmm... Is he really an upgrade if he still doesn't get that he's lost it and throws a bunch of picks?
  10. D'oh, I got it. Just wasn't wrapping my head around it, for some reason. ENers counting is kind of silly, imo. If the Blackhawks don't win Saturday, they have to win 4 of 5 against a team that has made them look bad for 165 of the last 180 minutes they played. Every team that loses game 1 on the road says "Yeah, well, we just wanted to win one of the first two," but the reality is that leaves you with half as many chances to do that, and most of the time you will fail and lose the series.
  11. Why isn't it possible (and ESPN's box score has him at -3 as well)? All that means is that he was on the ice for all five Vancouver goals. I know it's not too likely, but it's still possible. Unless they've changed the way the stat is calculated, you are not debited for goals while penalty-killing or empty-netters.
  12. I may no longer be able to use Yahoo.com for my box scores, because it seems to think Kane was a -3 tonight with two goals, and I don't think that's possible with a PP goal and an EN in a 5-3 game.
  13. I think it's over in four or five. You aren't going to get three quick goals against Luongo very often, doing it once doesn't mean they can do it again. Calgary was too busy trying to be tough to expose our non-top-2 defensemen, but Vancouver is not. If anything, this reminds me of Game 1 of the last series, in reverse. Vancouver took our best road shot and won.
  14. Seriously, Quinneville. If you are lucky enough to win this series, you will do it because Kane, Toews, Havlat, Versteeg have big games. I know it might mess up your precious defensive matchups, but it's the only chance you have.
  15. The captain in the last five games: 0 goals, 3 assists, -2, and losing a lot of ice time. Just sayin'...
  16. Well, that was fun, but the Hawks now have to win 4 of 6 from a team that has made them look very bad for 160 of the last 180 minutes they've played.
  17. It wasn't Walker's fault. It was Barker's fault. Walker/Barker... either way that was inexcusable. I'd say both. Take away the freaking pass and let the goalie have the shooter. How often do we mess that up?
  18. The back half of our D is bad against this team.
  19. They're Canadians, dude. They also love to cheer 2-on-4s. But then, we'd probably be starting a "De-troit sucks!" chant right about now.
  20. Byfuglien has been absolutely unbelievable these playoffs.
  21. 3-2 Vancouver, less than half a period to go
  22. Kaner! We don't deserve this game, but I'll take it.
