    One of Roger's best friends in the game is Al Nipper who is pitching coach for the Red Sox. Nipper has been heavily lobbying Clemens to come to the Red Sox. Kevin Kennedy thinks it is very likely that Clemens will go to Boston.

    You really think there's a good chance? There's teams that are in need of pitching. Rusch's deal is still affordable. Some GM's would look at his 2004-2005 performance and value it more than what he's done this year. I could see Texas as one team that might grab him. The thought of Glendon calling Arlington his home makes me giggle. Yeah...if he doesn't work out as a pitcher, there's quite a few [expletive] bars in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex he could find work at.

    I'm not sure you could get anything for Rusch in a trade, but if you place him on waivers there's a good chance someone picks him up. At least in that case, the Cubs rid themselves of that contract. I'm not sure Rusch adds anything to the bullpen that Williams, Ryu, Wuertz, or any number of other arms could bring. He should be released.

    Man, we didn't even charge to get into our games at my high school. Of course, that would've been impossible considering the way it was laid out, but still, I remember going to districts and knowing it was a big deal cause people had to pay to see us. My parents have had the same season tickets since I was in fifth grade. As people next to us have moved or changed seats, my mom and dad have bought up the extras. We now have eight seats on the same row about even with the 40 yard line. These will come in handy in about four years when my nephew starts playing. Is this for West Monroe? No. Neville. And yes, I was referring to football. And since I teach, I can get into any H.S. sporting event in the city for free, but I have to sit general admission. I do that for anything except football.
