Sure, if the Cubs could get Dontrelle at the right price, they should do it. On the other hand, the Cubs do have to consider the cost in players and dollars to acquire him. I wouldn't mind having Dontrelle, but I don't think the Cubs would be serious players. There are teams with deeper minor leagues who have more players to spare than the Cubs do that would have a greater desire to get him. Personally, I'd rather see the Cubs throw money at Matsuzaka than throw players at the Marlins for Dontrelle.
