I think he always preferred going to the Dodgers and was really hoping to go there. I think now he knows that if he rejects this trade, he kills his value, so he's angry it leaked. With the rumors that were swirling this weekend, he may have also believed he would go to LA and is miffed over the process.

I will say that this whole saga has been bizarre. I guess there will be lots of speculation as to Dempster's motives and why he is upset. I just hope it goes through, because getting Delgado would be a great haul.

I'm a little upset. I had originally planned to be at all four games in Atlanta but changed my mind because I didn't want to drive 7 1/2 hrs to watch them lose 3 of 4.

How was his WHIP? i'm going to bet that his walk rate was pristine but he got babip'ed like WHOA Only bc official scorers were a little generous when it came to the hit/error decisions. My friend told me that he told parents on the first day of practice that they would spend most of the time practicing fielding because when it came to hitting, he'd just learn the kids' swings and he could make sure he hit the bats.
