  1. My picks http://vnickelson.blogspot.com/2012/09/nfl-week-1-picks.html
  2. I have no idea what kind of season the Cowboys will have. I am looking forward to Wednesday night!
  3. I'd still use coin flip in an 8 minute overtime. And yes, the odds still are in favor of the team winning the toss, but I think a little less. First of all, unless that team holds the ball for the entire 8 minutes , the other team is going to get a chance to score. Most drives are a little shorter than 8 minutes...especially if each team were giving 2 timeouts which they could use to stop the clock. There's not going to be a perfect system. I think an 8 minute OT would be great. It wouldn't greatly lengthen games, it keeps the intensity level up and urgency to make a stop on the defense or score on the offense.
  4. An 8 minute OT would be quite compelling. The shortened time would promote some sudden death tendencies, especially if a team scored after a 5-6 minute drive...and would then create a lot of 2 minute drills to end the game which to me is very exciting.
  5. I am warming to the idea of eliminating overtime. I would also be ok with playing 1 extra period, no sudden death and if it ends in a tie, it's a tie. The FG proposal is asinine. Not sure I like his holding/contact rule change.
  6. Thought this might be of interest to some. http://www.fantasybaseballdugout.com/hot-wives-baseball/baseball-hot-wives-2012-vote/ Both Will Middlebrooks and Laynce Nix's wives are former DCC. I think I like Mrs. Zito best myself.
  7. I don't remember the exact date, but it was in Houston 1989.
  8. Clark Judge ‏@ClarkJudgeCBS More I see of Arizona, I get feeling there's no qb controversy there. There's a qb problem.
  9. I think I may go with Domestic Dezputes as mine this year.
  10. Not mine, but a female Cowboys fan I know uses Romosexual Dezbians.
  11. NFL Jesus ‏@NFLJesus Thou shall not headbutt thy wife
  12. She's apparently not the nicest young lady in the world. Based on? People who have dealt with her this week? She didn't seem to be a very gracious loser last night. She's 16 yrs old and just messed up on the world's biggest stage. Take it from someone who has worked with kids my entire life, 16-yr-olds sometimes have trouble dealing with emotions, especially on a large stage, especially in high pressure situations, especially when it involves disappointment. Now, I have no idea what she is like on an every day basis. But I would hardly judge her based on how she acted after losing an event in which she thought she should win and messed up when the entire world is watching her and she has little time to process her emotions or come to grips with the situation.
  13. Dong Dong and the Trampoline sounds like a really good book for children.
  14. It's getting worse. He was given seven runs of support, but not enough.
  15. Dempster had a rough start to his Rangers debut, but he is getting a good bit of run support.
  16. The Rangers have just announced that Feliz needs TJS. They were motivated to make a deal. Rangers will move Oswalt to the pen to make room for Dempster.
  17. High risk, high reward. He's recovering from TJS, but had filthy stuff prior. He's young, but has always had some durability issues.
