  1. Steelers take Landry Jones.
  2. Giants take Nassib and Raiders take Tyler Wilson.
  3. Peyton's Head‏@PeytonsHead2m #NFLDraft Mike Mayock has said plenty of guys are long and strong. Question is, are any down to get the friction on? #1900Mix
  4. Bengals lock up Andre Smith.
  5. Tharold Simon is an idiot. http://deadspin.com/nfl-draft-prospect-tells-cop-he-owns-the-town-cop-arre-482674595?fb_action_ids=10151611792077392&fb_action_types=og.likes&fb_source=aggregation&fb_aggregation_id=288381481237582
  6. Trading down is an option. If Star is there they will take him. They like Vaccaro too. I'd like a trade down and maybe pick Pugh at the bottom of the first and add an extra pick.
  7. There were rumblings that Floyd may have been a media creation. He's dropping right now. Star is dropping too.
  8. I guess Dallas will go d-line or safety. Maybe Vacarro, Richardson, or Star?
  9. Well there goes Dallas' chance to get a guard in the first.
  10. Not good for Cowboys that the three tackles and the best guard are off the board. I wanted one of the top guards, but not likely to be there. Maybe going DT or S depending on who's there. I like Mingo, but I thought 6 was too high for him.
  11. Three o-line in the first four picks. Has that ever happened before?
  12. My daughter is in a play Thursday night so I'm gonna miss some of the first round. My wife also says I can't check my phone for picks... :x
  13. The Cubs defense tonight is on par with my daughter's 7-8 yr old softball team.
  14. Thanks for the input. I know since having my second child, I haven't followed the minors at all, and haven't made a trip to Jackson to watch a game in 2 years and then that year only once or twice. The first couple of seasons over there, I'd go at least 10-12 times during the season. I'm going to try to get over there for the Tennesee series in May and maybe a few more this summer.
  15. The reports on Baez make me excited. While I am concerned with his approach, I like that the talent is there for him to become an elite player.
  16. I'm thinking of driving to Jackson, MS to see some games in the near future. Help me out and tell me who's to watch in the Southern League. This also may help me decide which teams to make the trip to see.
  17. I think it's the curse of whatever they call that monstrocity that goes off for homeruns.
  18. As was stated earlier, I'd rather get Stanton than Price. I think he would provide a much, much greater return and would probably give me reason to get really excited about this team. That being said, Price wouldn't be a bad acquisition. But, I guess we're still at the question of whether we have the money to pay him. Until the question of how much payroll we can take on until the renovation is complete, there's always going to be a bit of skepticism on my part that we will go after a big money player. And admittedly, my skepticism may be off-base, but right now it's still how I view things.
  19. Back to the renovation.... I'm looking forward to the hotel. I'm wondering how much the rooms will go for there? If it is not too ridulously priced, I would probably stay there on my visits.
  20. That's freaking awesome. Can we put another one just like it in right field?
  21. Cowboys need to address the safety position and I like the value matches the need here. Cowboys select Shamarko Thomas, S, Syracuse.
  22. The Cowboys will probably look to safety, d-line, or maybe additional support for the o-line here. I don't like the value at safety and having addressed o-line in the first, I think the Cowboys will be deciding who is the best value between Short (Purdue), Jenkins (Georgia), or Montgomery (LSU). I like Jenkins a lot better here, though I wonder if Garrett would prefer Short. I'm going with Jenkins as I think his film looks a lot better. Cowboys select Johnathan Jenkins, DT Georgia.
  23. Strikeouts are facist. Throw some groundballs. They're more democratic.
