    I could give a rats rear end who plays what there personal stats are the lack of fire as long as the record indicates that they are in the playoffs. Obviously playing Macias and corey as lead off and Greg not getting his wins and Kerry all leads to a losing record. I JUST WANT THEM TO WIN!!! Please

    sometimes it is approriate to say "I told you so" and cory is the one I'll sohout that out loud on top of the mountain I TOLD YOU SO. admit it, a lot of you said " he is the next coming of.........., "he a five tool guy" "He'll be a grat lead off man" He is terrible fit for the Cubs. A lesson/rule we should have is don't tought up or crete a bndwgn until a guy shows he can go back to back years over .300 and drive in a few runs as well as a high OBP esp if he is a lead off hitter. Cory makes you wish for Jerome Walton back. get rid of him to LA of the Angels so he cannot have influence on his younger brother who realy is the second coming of.........

    It was fantastic, and I was in it! During the Ryan Dempster/Billy Corgan interview from opening day, you can see me walking around infront of the cubs dugout. Gotta love working for the media! Hoped you taped it for your mom

    Did anyone else see the show "Baseball is" Excellent only will air once as far as I could see. Made incredible points, George Will pointed out the tough guys in football on if they could stair a Randy Johnson's fast ball down. tough to pinpoint any one part the whole thing was a great way to end a dreary season. It made me feel good for being a baseball fan over those secondary sports like football and basketball. *L*

    Here's how: 1. Dusty F. Baker is owed $4 mil next year. If he's fired, he still gets paid, plus they'd have to pay another manager. 2. The fans show up no matter what. 3. The Trib doesn't care if the Cubs win or lose as long as people show up. Maybe the Trib doesn't...unless they can get a manager cheaper. good news and bad news Trib loss million of dollars last year with other ventures, there stock has plumeted. first thing always done is to eliminate excessive contracts that don't produce. I say Dusty falls under that perameters

    would you be a nice compromise if it was rebuilt with the assurance from the locals that if it floods again the Fed. government is not remotely responsible for the cost of the repair? the feds just can't say that. People wouldn't stand for that suffering no matter how air-tight a "if you mve back heere and get hurricaned to death, we're not helping you" a contract got signed. It's a less likely scenario than how to manage dental care if magical fairies who distributed infinite amounts of hard candy popped up all over the ccountry. Bellevance, Missouri was told that the fed. would not insure them after the 92 floods of the Missippi, but the Fed would help them move the entire town 4 miles away from the original location

    So the theory of evolution has not been forced on students in school? Say what you want about the evidence supporting it and what have you, but the fact remains that there are plenty of people that do not believe in evolution that have it thrown at them every day in school/college. There will always be things forced on others... that'll never change. Well when it's 'forced' on those kids at school, they can whistle and look the other way. :P Just again to let you guys know, No one and I mean no one can be force to say the pledge, but they can be asked to stand because this is a school activity. the Jehovia witnesses sued back in the 20's (before "God" ) was added and won.

    We never do "force, we offer, but it is your choice, but we are still a country where the majority has the final say....or at least it use to be. so christianity has never been forced on anyone? Nope, Christ has never forced himself on anyone, man in his warped ways have tried, but not Christ.
