    the lesson here is to teach your little leaguers to switch hit and to be left handed pitchers, they will last forever in either league no matter how mediocre.

    Please elaborate Tim? did they not want him to bunt and use his speed? or drive the ball rather than lift it? didn't dusty and the staff encourage him not to take the pitches over his head? (ie: Shwon Dunston like) Not being sarcastic just need clarification I have always thought CP was over-rated, possibly could have done him good to go to college and mature mentally/socially first, get with a good college coach down here at TX or ASU

    It will never happen.....he ticked off too many fans and more importantly Cubs management, who unfortunately created their own monster. It would be embarrasing to have the ceremonies amongst a parade of boos. And there is not proof, but that's like saying McGuire hasn't been caught so don't accuse him. don't ever say never, it may but in 22.1 years, when time heals wounds and we look back at the 90's with nostalgia.

    can Cedeno play second, especially being yng he may adapt a bit more quickly to the position.

    that hit by cedeno didn't count. the marlins didn't have a 'book' on him yet, so it's unfair to give him credit for the hit. that's why you can't judge rookies late in the season. duh. that's right and according to suttcliff he needs to be rewarded for his outstanding play early in the season. he did get on base three times...as the ESPN guys kept reminding us. It was almost if Sut was trying to rationalize Dusty's bad decision.

I guess Garner comes from the Walter Mathau scool of coaching. (for ynger ones in her he was the original "Bad News Bears Coach"
