    As mentioned glad he is off the streets and steriods are being tested in our school in Texas because of him. Just a side note this will not affect the students I teach that come high on pot, meth, crack or ice.

    I understand to a point that about Melvin. doing a lot with very little, but what about Clint Hurdle? WS and 20 something games in a row with an offense equal to the Cubs and DBacks, it was worth at least a close vote for first or second place

    If we get anything for him, this is a good deal. The only way it could turn out bad, is if the PTBNL is Monroe himself. Other than that, I'm glad we're getting anything. This made me smile, because it is soooo true

    I don't belie ve in colusion in most cases but would love to see the owners get together and just agree not to sign him for anymore than what he is currently making.

    I think he has that reputation by artificial means. I think many players could make the plays he does if they new they had a large Hefty bag behind them as a wall. I would love to see him run into the ivy once. though he is exciting out their in Minnisota

    I could find a way to justify his 300 million dollar price tag if he said he was going to fund the school system of several towns or building and funding a youth education fascility like Jordan, even if he was just buying himself a congressman I can see it. This is just about getting more very high priced hookers.

    hasn't been brought up but would we get stomped like a narc at a bikers rally if we played Boston? or beaten like a drum? smashed like a pumpkin on holloween? Statistically where do we even come close to matching up with them. I looked and didn't see too many places. The plaes I found were overcomed by the lack of that position being abe to clutch hit or hit with men in SP. or are we avoiding this subject because if we go to far we would see that we too would have been swept just as bad?
