    I think that's probably a good thing anyway. Could you imagine going to a cold game in April with the stadium being right on the lakefront? Yikes that would be cold.

    Aardsma just came in with the bases loaded and no outs. He proceeded to strike out the side w/o giving up a run. He was painting the outside corner and throwing some wicked sliders. Why didn't he do that crap with us? :x

    Braden Looper gets the start for the Cards tonight. The game will be on ESPN 2 at 7:10 CT if anyone wants to catch it. I'm expecting him to suck, but it's the Cardinals so he'll probably go 8 strong innings of 1-hit ball.

    If the Cubs can somehow ever get out of the WGN TV programming contracts, they should definitely make their own channel like the Yankees. Could you imagine the amount of revenue the team could make from such a thing? :shock:

    I'm watching LAD vs. Mil on my laptop and Sea vs. Oak on my desktop. I didn't know I could launch MLB.TV on all of my computers. Pong has become quite annoying, and I've only had MLB.TV for 2 days. The deer commercial that starts up each time I switch games is even more annoying. Oh how I long to hear that annoying and repetitive music MLB EI plays between innings, and before and after games. I want to throw things everytime I hear that stupid pong noise over and over again. What a dumb idea. I have to say, I'm not liking the MLB.tv experience at all, and there's no way I'm going to pay even more money for the premium thing.

    It's driving me nuts having to watch MLB.tv on my laptop. I'd much rather be able to watch these games on MLB EI. I hope something gets done soon.

    Every team in the MLB has grey road uniforms. You think MLB would allow the Cubs to be different?

    That surprises me that they didn't take an MRI. Why wouldn't they? I'm surprised they wouldn't be as extremely precautious as possible with their ace.

    I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but I hope it's not anything major and he's back soon. If we're going to win the division I want to do it while the other teams are at their best. I don't want to be given the division because the Cards, Astros, or Brewers have big injury problems all year.

    Just out of curiosity, do you hold this belief for just baseball or is that for all sports? EDIT: And I love the blue uniforms. No. I don't think so. I just always felt that the blue jerseys looked out of place when matched with either the pin-striped pants or the road greys. I never felt that it looked proffesional enough.

    I've always disliked the blue uniforms. I just think they're tacky and in recent years they seem to have been worn more than the grey uniforms. They were supposed to be alternate uniforms! I would definitely like to see some changes in the grey uni's, but I don't want to see the blue uniforms back. The uniforms should be one color, not blue shirts with a different colored pant. Just looked tacky to me.

    Thank god. The blue jerseys weren't even used as alternates. They were used way too much, and I always thought they looked tacky. I would be up for a refresh to the grey uni's though. They're a little bland.

    The only reason I ever watch WGN is for the Cubs and an occasional Scrubs. I wouldn't imagine WGN would survive w/o the Cubs. Also, I wouldn't imagine a new owner willing to buy the Cubs if Wrigley Field wasn't included.

    It's alright. We're all in crappy moods. First the Cubs get shelled and then we find out Z's contract talks are put on hold. Not that great a day for Cubs' fans (not many days are).

    Sheets is amazing. I'd love to have him on this team. A guy who has nasty stuff and doesn't walk many people are rare.

    Come on. Do we really think that Prior somehow told the Cubs he didn't want to go to Iowa because of the cold weather, so they decided to let him stay in Arizona? This was a decision made by the Cubs. They obviously felt that Prior would benefit from staying in Arizona for a while, so that's where he'll be. Just like the title of this thread, Prior is just an employee. He's not going to dictate where he ends up.
