    It's going to be very difficult for Miller to be successful this year when his straight-as-an-arrow fastball is topping out at 88mph.

    Has Prior even pitched in Iowa yet? He's in extended ST Thanks! I'd imagine it would take 2-3 starts in Iowa at the very least before Prior is called up to the big league club. Agreed. Prior has to be able to throw more than 4 innings a game before he's going be be called up to the big club.

    As posted in the Rivals thread, Carpenter has been sent back to St. Louis to get an MRI on his right elbow. Not good news for Cardinal fans.
