    Won't be able to catch any of this one. At least coming home to the final score in this one won't be any worse than coming home in time to see the score while the Cubs leave them loaded in the bottom of the first today.

    The second to last play of the Rams-Titans Superbowl was about as exciting as football has ever been for me. The way McNair pulled that play out of his arse was absolutely unbelievable.

    Fred's trying to set new records for most consecutive posts in one thread. I'm pretty sure there are about 12 game threads from Sept 06 where he set a new record in each. There were one or two where he was the only poster, iirc.

I may or may not have posted in it, but I definitely agreed with the overall sentiment. I would like to apologize to Lee and his family, as I'm sure my negative thoughts troubled them immensely, and I would like barbecue sauce on that crow. mmmm....

    Who was the third? I thought the deal was just Aramis, Lofton and cash for Hernandez, Hill and Bruback. I think he's thinking of Randall Simon who came over for Ray Sadler in a separate trade. I didn't realize they were separate deals that occurred almost a month apart. For some reason I'm remembering them coming over at the same time. And since Simon came over on August 17th, it was a wire deal and not a trade. I'll shut up and lurk now.

    He probably did spend some time on it. He also took away from whatever point he was trying to make by turning it into a humor column. Also, why do people keep forgetting that Kenny Lofton and Aramis Ramirez were only two of the three who came over in that trade?
