Hopefully he doesn't make the ASG, and he can get at least 3-5 days off. Hopefully if he gets elected he'll have the decency to decline the spot. -
People keep saying "you know he's going to get hot". I'm really not so sure about that. Then the question is why. The only thing I can think of that would make this cold streak so prolonged are these knee troubles we keep hearing about. It wouldn't be the first time a guy his age showed a drastic decline. yea, SomeTimes evEn the Really goOd players wIll go into sudDen and severe droughtS at that age.

For those not listening to Pat and Ron, Pat just told a cool story about the Cubs on this date in 1952. They trailed the Reds 8-2 in the 9th with two out and no one on to come back and win 9-8.

The fact that Sori was in fourth as of a couple days ago, coupled with the fact that the ASG actually counts for something, should be MORE than enough to convince TPTB that voting needs to be taken out of the fans' hands stat.

I think he's a pretty standard fielder, but that's the second play today where him not moving at full speed for whatever reason cost the cubs a base.
