Yea, I was just about to ask if there was any chance someone would come in and drop the chat link in case I forget to scroll up and click it myself. -
Corey Provost was sitting in for Pat that inning, and he just cemented a positive name for himself in my book... "Moyer lines one softly to center field, Jacque Jones coming on, he SEES IT and makes the catch!!" The emphasis was his touch, not mine. I definitely enjoyed the dig.

I was definitely enjoying that too, though I can't really say whether or not I like that better than the Brewers running back to their bullpen in the 3rd or 4th inning. If the Mutts and Cubs hold on, life is gooood :D

Murton, Hill, and Cedeno all have RBIs tonight. It's looking like Lou has once again picked a good night to trot out the "forfeit lineup."

Sweet - both starters get rocked the day after the bullpens have to go into the 13th inning. Here's hoping for the game to go to 13 again with about 15 runs a piece.

If anyone is listening to Pat and Ron tonight, this broadcast is why I love listening to them. Ron may be feeling his years now, but this team will never get old to me.

Way to settle down Rich. Now the heart of the order (Lee, DeRosa, Murton :pukel:) will hopefully continue to remind Moyer that he's old.

Soriano belted a foul ball before making an out (somehow, I forgot what he did), and Fontenot flied out solidly to deep right field. Lee sent a gapper for a double, and DeRosa just walked. Moyer looks very mortal so far.

All three batters have made solid contact off Moyer. Four runs doesn't win this game, even against today's Cubs lineup.

For how crappy that inning was, I'm really glad there was only one run. I'm also glad it scored on a WP, rather than on the walk to Burrell.

Ron just said 25 after the walk. Hill's first inning record this year is 45, so we could only be halfway out of this mess.

I predict that, rather than the score, this will be written on the scorecard at least 10 times today when one of our right-handers fails to get a hit off Moyer. I think this is all we can expect of this team against any lefty.

Can you tape that and put it on you tube. :lol: how poetic would THAT be? If this season were truly The Run, Wood's return would be the icing on the best cake ever. It'd be nice if Prior were able to make it back for it as well, but if I had to pick only one of the two for sentimental reasons, I'd definitely pick Wood. I'm so unbelievably pumped about this.

Especially from NY teams. I think their ineptitude against lefties could very well trump this long-standing and storied trend. -
If anyone wants to hear a homerun call that makes Hawk seem tolerable, click on the story where the Yankees hit 8 HR tonight, and watch the video of all 8 HR in succession. By the third or fourth time I heard that tool say "See ya," I wanted to throw my computer out the window.
